Fan asks Jared if he could ask God to explain one thing what would it be? Jared: “Donald Trump.” Also would ask who shot JFK.
Jared was upset with Sam saying he wanted to ask God why planets are round because Sam is smart, he would’ve known about gravity. Jared says he could have explained that to Sam lol.
He is asked what Sam thinks about Cas being possessed by Lucifer given his experience. He says Sam is terrified of Lucifer even if he knows it’s a necessary evil. Feels he has to do what needs to be done.
“Sam understands Castiel’s choice of taking on Lucifer and felt Sam was not strong enough to do it again.” Sam said no to Lucifer earlier this season because Sam couldn’t take it again.
(Spoilers) Jared says we will see something in the finale about what Sam and Dean think of Cas’ decision to say yes to Lucifer.
Fan asks if there is any role he would want so bad that he would be willing to cut his hair for? Jared laughs because he’s not allowed to cut his hair for Sam, so that’s why he grows facial hair lol. Says that’s his “expression of freedom.” Jared says he loves self expression, loves to see people expressing themselves in different ways and showing their personalities.
He says that Gen wants to dye her hair pink or purple. Jared told her: “Do it!”
Jared says that the only part he would consider cutting his hair for would be a WWII movie or TV show. It’s a part of history that Jared has a fascination with.
Jared doesn’t know what it’s gonna feel like when Supernatural wraps.
Fan asks if Dean got shot would Sam try to make a deal to bring him back? Jared: Yes, definitely. If their roles had been reversed, Sam would have done the same thing Dean did when Sam was shot.
Jared goes over his daily routine while working. Wakes up an hour and a half before Clif picks him up on a Monday morning and reads his lines while on the treadmill. He explains that there are always a few episodes that break his routine/preparation and “Red Meat” was one of those episodes.
“Red Meat was a punch to the gut when I read the script ‘cause I could tell it would be hard to shoot.” He is happy with how it turned out, though.
“I try to live…or die with what Sam is going through. I can’t play pretend.”
Advice Jared would give to Sam? Jared would tell Sam to take a moment for himself. Says he would be proud of him and tell him to AKF. He then says Sam would probably be like wtf you married a demon, but would find her hot, too lol.
Fan: My brother’s girlfriend is named Lilith and she’s blonde what do I do? Jared: Exorcise her, or make him watch a s4 ep with Lilith lol. “Tell your brother to call Sam and Dean.”
What would be the first thing he would do if he could rule the world? Jared says he would institute an obligatory adult nap time. Says he would also have air conditioning everywhere and free hugs.
“My drama teacher once told me, never ruin a hug.” Jared says hugs are like saying, “You’re important to me, we’re sharing space.”
He brings up Salmon Dean again lol. Jared says he wants fan art of Salmon Dean being chased by a bear, get on it fandom! 😉
What does Jared expect from a new showrunner? Jared feels Sam and Dean have been around long enough to know their priorities, same with Jensen and Jared. No matter who came in, they would still have a strong basis to work with; they can still maintain their characters.
“The showrunners guide the path of the season. Sam and Dean have clear priorities but running the show is a big task.” He says Andrew and Bob are fantastic, but he and Jensen will always protect their characters.
“Jensen and I love Sam and Dean as much as y’all guys.”
Jared is asked what was the worst criticism he’s ever received? He says that when he was working on Cry Wolf years ago, he and a costar decided to check out a Gilmore Girl’s chatroom/WB forum (first time he had ever done this). There were many flattering comments, but one person said that Jared needed to cut his hair, that he looked like a chick and was making fun of his appearance. Jared was really hurt because he didn’t understand why this person was trying to insult him.
Via Nell: Jared was asked what the worst criticism he ever got was. He answered that it was a throwaway, five-word sentence from over 12 years ago. Someone took all of six seconds to type out something thoughtless and unnecessarily cruel, just for the sake of it, and Jared still remembers how that made him feel. It’s not the comment that’s important, it was the intent. It hurt him, and still does. The malice got to him.
Jared doesn’t look at fan comments about SPN on social media because his feelings were hurt once when someone criticized Sam. He tries to avoid reading any of that because he knows that he focuses on the bad instead of the good.
“If you read a lot of bad or hear a lot of bad, especially with my personality type, you tend to focus on it.”
JIBCon game: Jared has to act out a scene from the Wizard of Oz. He’s trying to put on high heels!
They play Judy Garland singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” as Jared tries to put on a pair of ruby slippers. “There’s no place like Rome.”

Dean's childhood was stolen from him when his mom was stolen from him. Very hard life lessons for Dean very early in. He built up many walls, his emotions are closed off because of his childhood.
Dean doesn't open up so much because if he did he would be vulnerable.
sometimes you need to ask for help, sometimes you just need to do the best you can. Dean needs those walls to cope, has broken down some walls but some of them are how he survives and would be vulnerable without. Dean has a lot of defense mechanism to that give him strength, some of them good, some not so good.
His defense mechanisms are a part of Dean. He relies on his walls a crutches, needs them to survive.

Jensen loves Sturgill Simpson but wouldn't want to meet him! I don't want to meet famous people I like. I've met some and they let me down, it ruins their art for me.

he said he laughed out loud the whole time reading then called chris like 'we HAVE to make this even if no one sees but our friends
they called everyone they knew to be in it, inc. Riley Smith, then got to 'hot girls' part & thought 'who do we know that's hot?'
and danneel was like 'I'll do it!' and they were like 'sweet' and that's how Jensen got to know danneel better

Richard Speight was the first guy I tried the euro note on … he scrawls a big ol' signature on it, and flicks it back to me with a cheery "Now it's worthless!" I take the same euro note over to the other 3 and they all sign it no prob. Jensen – "I got nothing for autographs so here's a euro note. He just nods though, (I have given him a fresh one, so he doesn't get to see that the other actors have already been signing euros). He is actually almost about to sign when he does a clear doubletake and says "Wait, wait, isn't this, um, defacing currency or something?" Jensen turns to his handler and says "Isn't it?" and they have a quick consultation and Jensen turns back to me with "it's defacing currency." So I say "That's okay, you're worth it, I don't mind," and he's like "But it's defacing currency" – his wtf expression is growing clearly thinking I am a moron. I say "But I'M NOT GONNA SPEND IT," and he says (now laughing) "But IT'S MY SIGNATURE!" Suddenly I GET IT, he's worried about actually breaking a law. Anyway, Jensen signs a piece of paper. As I turn away I say "Funny, Richard Speight didn't seem to have a problem with that," and Jensen calls after me, "Tells you a lot about him, huh?"

Rob spilled red wine on his shirt last night so Jared gave him his shirt.
Jared went to an Italian store and they told him he was “extra extra large.” Jared: “Thank you!”
Rob apparently also lost the sole of his shoe and was drunk lol. So Rob’s shoe broke and he was wearing Jared’s shirt. Misha says Rob looked like he was wearing a kimono.
If they had to sacrifice one of their eyes for all wisdom and knowledge in the world would they? Jared: No, but- Misha: He’d sacrifice his butt.
Misha would sacrifice it because he would use all of that knowledge to make himself a new eye.
Jared just put Misha’s hand on his crotch; he touched Jared’s thigh and then pulled his hand back but Jared put it back lol!
Jared: I think part of the wisdom and the knowledge is the journey to get that wisdom and knowledge.
Misha had a great idea for an app, like a Google maps app that talks in a way that confuses the shit out of you. Jared’s driving app would talk every three seconds: “Keep going straight, keep going straight, keep going straight” or it would speak vernacular.
Jared tells a story about how in Toronto after drinking some wine Jensen looked at Jared and said: “Slap me in the face.” Jared did it too strongly apparently and that was the spirit in which they go into wrestling matches lol! They wrestled in the hotel room. Clif broke them up after Jared pinned Misha and Misha wouldn’t tap out and his elbow popped.
The wrestling match resulted in Misha’s busted elbow, Jared having a bruised rib and sore hip, and Jensen with rug burns. That’s Jared and Misha’s answer to the fan’s question about how they prepare for stage combat lol.
Jared says that it makes for an interesting fight when the smallest guy in the room is 180lbs.
Fan: I want to ask about the Cas/Sam relationship. Jared and Misha start holding hands and/or touch hands.
The fan said “influence” but Misha thought she said incest. “Did you ask if they have incest??”
Jared: Would it be Sastiel or Cam?
Jared and Misha have the giggles and are losing it on stage.
Jared is picking fluff out of Misha’s hair.
Misha: “We influence all over each other!” Jared: Is that what y’all call it in Italy?
Second part of the question: Cas feels pretty damaged and lost. Jared: *Mic drop* “After we’ve influenced on each other!”
They are apparently laughing so hard they are crying now lol.
Fan: Cas is pretty damaged after influencing Sam. Misha: Don’t you mean Sam would be damaged after Cas’s influence?
Fan: I mean, would they help each other? Misha: What, like with a reach-around?
Jared: Sam, Dean, and Cas are in need of a massage.
After they calm down, Jared is asked about his favorite Pearl Jam song. Jared talks about how the song “Just Breathe” was the first song that came up on Gen’s birth playlist after their first son’s birth. It was playing when he was holding Thomas as a newborn.
They’re asked about favorite pranks. Jared picks the pie in the face with Misha, says that Misha is quicker than he looks. He’s wily.
What song described Sam and Cas better? Jared: “How do you talk to an angel” and “Girl you know it’s true” by Milli Vanilli.. Misha: Anaconda. His kids like that song apparently lol, he talks about Maison using swear words.
Jared and Gen were out eating and Thomas singing “Uptown Funk” but said “fuck you up.” Jared’s heart stopped: What are you singing buddy? “FUNK you up – you know, let’s not sing that song.”
Jared: I personally thought Ruby 2 was hot. Misha: Me too!
Jared said fav villain, aside from Ruby, is Lucifer. Misha: Thank you! Jared’s least fav was the bugs. “They hired real bees.” Misha: “They auditioned every bee.”
Misha’s fav villain is Mark Pellegrino’s Lucifer, least fav: “I guess Mark Sheppard. Oops, that’s an actor.” Then picks Leviathans as least fav.
When Cas was watching porn in s6 was he really watching that specific porn video on screen? Misha says basically yes, because if someone is looking at a monitor on scene there’s usually a horrible porn image. Usually a naked man with a huge penis.
Jared: I feel lucky and blessed to be doing what I’m doing. I was going to be an engineer. Kind of stumbled into acting. He says to not set the bar so high that you’re never happy in your job. Jared mentions a great quote about “if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life” but someday you’ll hate it anyway. Those days happen.
Misha talks about how he explained to his kids before this trip that he had to be gone for a while for his job. West said, “can’t you get another job?” Some people do a job they don’t love just because it’s safe, but if you wanna love our job, you gotta take some risks.
Misha said that West told him to become an ice cream taster. Jared: “That’s my boy.”

Ok so, Jared’s M&G was A-M-A-Z-I-NG! I had such an awesome time, just sitting there with him, having a drink and chatting. FYI, he keeps eye contact with people the whole time when he’s answering their questions and GOSH he’s so beautiful. I FEEL BLESSED to have experienced this! Got 2 ask a couple of questions and he gave me wonderful answers! Being so close to him though, I kinda forgot how to properly form sentences so I stuttered a lot and the 2nd time both him and Gen were looking right at me so I turned my eyes at the ceiling for like 3 seconds xD He was incredibly sweet though, Gen too and he always smiles and waits patiently because he understands how nervous someone can get with these things. I believe I speak for everyone who was in the room when I say that he made us all feel super comfortable, as if we were hanging out with a good friend *and tbh that’s exactly how we saw it!* It was an unforgettable experience. Jared was cheerful and kind and smiled a lot, made jokes and paid attention to all of us. When Gen came in, she engaged too in our chat and she was too very chill 🙂
When Jared came in, he was wearing a beanie so the first question was about his beanies and whether he only wears them on bad hair days, if he has bad hair days at all. He said he does have bad hair days and wears beanies on those days but also wears them on good hair days. He’s always worn them. When his hair was growing, it used to become so fluffy that it would have ended up looking like an afro if he didn’t do anything. He began wearing beanies when he started going to the gym, running on the treadmills etc etc. While running, his hair would fly to all directions, flinging sweat and ppl would give him weird looks like “Ew, oh, oh God!”. So he was wondering what to do and wore headbands for a while which eventually didn’t work too because his hair was still flinging sweat. He decided he had to find something else so he started wearing beanies, putting them on when jogging and they gradually became part of his personality; he always feels very comfortable wearing beanies. He told us as a person, he kind of lives in his shell and likes to have some kind of security blanket cause every person has it whether it’s a jacket, a blanket or a teddy bear. Jared mentioned Johnny Depp once said, he prefers long hair because it can cover his face and that makes him feel protected from the world.
Jared said he’s so glad the Samulet is back and he’s always believed Sam had kept it because it meant so much to him. Eric Kripke had said that the amulet would be a weird plot point because it would serve as a tool to find God *Chuck* and now it makes sense it didn’t work back in S5 since God didn’t want it to work. He got chills when he read the script of “Don’t Call Me Shurley” and thought it was a perfect time to bring it back. He talked to Robbie about the episode and they agreed it was a great shout-out to the fans who have been asking for its return for a long time.
Jared also thinks that despite the fact that Sam and Dean haven’t talked about the Samulet yet, they will talk about it. The last 3-4 episodes of season 11 have scenes that got cut out because all episodes have to be 42 minutes long and in the states you have to have a standard time of 18 minutes of commercials. Each of those eps could have ended up being 45 or 50 minutes long. One of the deleted scenes included Chuck telling Sam and Dean that they don’t have to be scared of Lucifer, that he’s muted his powers and he’s in charge of him. The only justification Jared gives for Sam talking with Lucifer is that Chuck explained why they don’t have to be scared. Jared thinks Sam will always be cautious because of their past. Sam actually felt like punching Lucifer but was scared because if Lucifer got his powers back he could hurt him. The real purpose was to make Amara look so powerful that even Sam and Dean aren’t concerned about Lucifer in the face of her.
A really interesting question was about the kind of lawyer Sam would have ended up becoming. Jared admitted he has thought about that before and he believes Sam would be a trial attorney, standing up for people. He said Sam doesn’t feel comfortable in front of a lot of people, not like Dean who is a swashbuckler. Sam is happy in a room reading and researching and studying, Sam as a lawyer though would still be protecting the innocent and those who can’t protect themselves, much like he does now.
If he was to show someone who’s never watched an episode from the show a single episode, Jared would choose “Sacrifice”. Someone mentioned “The French Mistake” and Jared started laughing because that would literally describe the show, Sam playing Jared playing Sam played by Jared. But “Sacrifice” capsulates a lot of what the Winchester brothers are about, helping each other and people they don’t know, willing to sacrifice whatever they need to make the world a better place but ultilmately deciding to keep fighting for each other even if they have to sacrifice the world to accomplish that. Jared loves that about the brothers *me too, to be honest!*. One other person mentioned “Swan Song” and Jared said that is great too. He gets teary when he watches the montage of those flashbacks of Sam and Dean’s early years when Lucifer!Sam is beating up Dean.
A part of the fandom has always wondered about Sam and Amelia, whether it all was a hallucination, a coping mechanism of Sam’s when he was left all alone and helpless. Keep in mind that no one ever had an actual interaction with her apart from those flashbacks and even her own dad had similarities with John Winchester. Jared thinks it’s a great view/assessment of that part of season 8. He says that relationship probably was real but he thinks that when you reach a certain age, everybody, him included makes decisions that they should have probably thought about more and not done certain things rather than trying to undo them later. According to him, you have to execute them, go through with your plan in order to find whether it’s the wrong or the right route. That was Sam’s way of not just thinking it out, not just hiding and reading books and doing reseasrch but going forward and doing something and saying “You know what? I gave it a shot, a try.” He’s proud of Sam, because as much as Jared wanted to see Sam+Dean back together, Jared also thinks that Sam gave it a shot because he had promised his brother to do it even if it wasn’t meant to be. He loved this theory, thought it’s cool and has never heard it before. He believes this is the point of storytelling, like musicians write songs but don’t always say why since they hold different meaning to everybody. That’s one of the things Supernatural gets to do since they do get to die often on the show and come back and even see possible outcomes like what happened with the Trickster in Season 3.
After this, Gen came to the room, Jared kissed her and she sat next to him.
Someone asked Jared if he’s ever considered doing a lipsync battle and if so what song would he choose. A girl said “Baby Got back” and Jared started laughing. He said would definitely consider it, During the season, he and Jensen are so busy that he doesn’t watch a lot of TV but he’s heard that they were 2 of the most requested people worldwide to do it. Gen was like: “Really? You have to do it!”. She told us he’s a really great dancer and Jared blushed. She admits she has no problem embarassing herself, she embarasses her kids all the time and everyone started laughing. Gen’s really funny btw 🙂 Jared pretended he’s Tom and went like “Mommy, stop! Stop that. Mommy don’t do that!”. They have so many videos of them and their kids doing goofy stuff. So, if he ever did a lipsync battle, he would like to do something goofy and silly.
Jared and Gen told us a funny bunny story about Shep. They have 2 bunnies at home and Shep loves animals. They have a big cage that is high and wide and long. Shep goes and opens the cage and tries to get the bunnies out but he tries to grab them by the ears because he can’t reach all the way in and the poor things all run to the side of the cage. They both tell Shep, he can’t pick the bunnies up by the ears, he has to ask mommy and daddy before he lets the bunnies out. Their neighbor and his kids had come over one day to play with Tom and Shep and at some point Jared looked around and asked “Where’s Shep?”. Their neighbor’s dog was there too and was also nowhere to be seen. Jared suddenly heard some noises of Shep kinda crying and went “Oh crap …”. So he went down to the garage cause that’s where they keep the cage and saw the dog sitting next to the cage and Shep stuck trying to reach for the bunnies with his feet up in the air; he had gone in too far. Jared took his phone out and tried to find a video to show us and someone asked “wait, you took a video of that?” And both him and Gen started laughing and said “well, he’s done it a couple of times!” Gen was like “poor guy!”. Jared didn’t manage to find it and said he may post it if he finds it.
Later, Jared chatted about his favorite Sam quotes from the show. “What kind of house doesn’t have salt? Low sodium freaks!”, he said laughing and I told him that’s from season 1 and he looked so surprised that it happened such a long time ago. I said it was “Provenance” and he remembered but still couldn’t believe it was 11 years ago. He said Sam has some really funny quotes but also some that really mean a lot to Jared himself like stuff he’s told Dean about trying to do the right thing or feeling scared to let Dean down. He said he always goes back to Sacrifice, the church scene. It’s such an important, powerful scene for him because Sam is a big, strong demon-hunter, he’s gone to Hell and back literally, so to see him struggling with something so much was significant. Jared loves Sam, he’s think he’s a pretty cool guy, so stuff like that is really powerful to him, to see somebody who is so strong still having vulnerabilities and weaknesses. Another quote he likes is a funny one from Season 3, “I lost my shoe!”.
A fan wondered if Sam ever told Dean about what really happened in Mystery Spot when he spent all that time alone trying to get him back. Jared says no because he was so happy to his brother back that he just wanted to forget all of it. Sam usually tries not to dwell on the past and what has already happened.
Lastly, Jared talked about the Gilmore Girls revival. Supernatural was getting filmed at the same time as GG so he didn’t have free time for a longer part in it. He felt it was super great to go back to play the “original” Dean. He is in one scene and he gets to go back to a certain market that he used to work at and it’s a really sweet scene. When he last played Dean all those years ago, he felt like his character didn’t get proper closure so he’s happy he got to do this.

Instantly Jensen drops a mic, then start laughing. Jensen: It just rolled off the chair. Misha: We literally just had a 5min conversation about not dropping the mic.
Jensen and Misha are talking about the impression of Misha that Jensen did. 'are you sore?' Misha: After my panel with Jared, yes. Misha explains influence, .Jensen: I get it. There's a receiver…and a tight end…
Misha asks if a q is sex realted. Jensen: we need a safe word.
Jensen: My safe word is "keep going", they talk about having conversations in Clif's car that would ruin their careers should they become public
Jensen shows how he reads Mark's voice and is going to do Cas.
Jensen is looking on his phone for a script with a Cas scene in it, he has a hard time finding one. He reads Cas with a high pitched lisp.
Jensen, drinking, this is a well aged apple juice. Jensen says he likes Tree tops, but Macallan (whisky) is also good! They discuss making apple juice, Misha did it as a job at school.
Music question. They start making up a song about the con, Jensen is playing guitar.
Dean girlfriend question, Jensen says if there was a huntress, you guys would kill her.
They dance, Jensen: nothing like a couple of washed up white guys dancing onstage. Misha: when did we pass our prime? Did we ever really have any success or was it all in our heads?
Discuss photo ops, having to eat a string candy a la lady and the tramp, lick an ice cream, one girl said you two are my bitches. We have to add bitches to the special skills on the resume.
They were discussing on a plane on the way back from a con, fans tell them emotional stories, one fan's mother was there when she said she wanted to kill herself and Misha said as a parent, the thought of my child wanting to kill herself… So after that, we started to think, how can we help.
Jensen "We joke a lot… But there's really a common denominator and it's a deep emotional bond that we have to the show & u guys, any inspiration you find in the show, please know we find that in you as well.
