Jared to Jensen: for someone who just had kids, you look great!
When Jensen was considering not coming to the convention today because the twins were just born and said “maybe I shouldn’t go,” Danneel said: “Yes you will.”
On set they were using the code word “twins” all day to refocus people and get the job done since Jensen needed to get out of there to hightail it back for the birth. Jensen appreciates Richard for not keeping them at work until midnight.
Jensen didn’t have his passport and he and Jared almost didn’t make it back into the U.S. from Vancouver.
Jared: We have a friendship where we can just be silent with each other but Jensen was so nervous he wouldn’t stop talking aww.
Jensen talking about naming his son Zeppelin: there’s a knot known as the Zeppelin Bend and his son’s umbilical cord was tied around him.
Both Jared and Jensen’s sons weren’t named until after they were born.
Shep apparently often flings himself at Jensen’s parts when he runs at him lol ouch – boys mimic it here

Jensen says he and Danneel wanted an “odd” name that also made the initials A A and they both liked Arrow. “I mean, when your parents are Danneel and Jensen…”
Zeppelin was born first by one minute.

Jared mentions Dean on Gilmore Girls and refers to Jensen as the short Dean lol.
When the boys were filming with Rick Springfield they were both hoping he would pull out a guitar a start singing. They both speak very highly of Rick.
There are a lot of superhero CW crossovers happening? Jensen: We don’t wear tights. At least not on camera.
J2 on crossovers: We’re just over here in the corner doing our thing
Jared M&G: Jared talked in his meet and greet about how important it is to him to nurture Thomas and Shep's generosity–he's taking them shopping to buy gifts for underpriviledged kids this Christmas to help them understand that not everyone is as fortunate as their family is.   He appreciates the love he receives from fans, he's come to realize that giving love and helping others feel loved is just as meaningful and something that has become very important to him.
Jared said he and Jensen have a wishlist of pranks they want to get to someday but that he couldn't tell us or it would ruin the surprise. The recent prank on Mark Sheppard was a test to see how he would react. One prank off their wishlist involved Misha and his trailer.

J2 come out wearing their SPNFamily Love gear, and Jensen with a burger and Jared eating fries, and they give both to the guitarist. Richard says he strategically gave the burger to the gentleman, Ackles, because Jared would have eaten it. Jared says that's not to say he didn't lick the burger.
Jared asks for the house lights to be turned up so they can see the crowd and welcomes first timers.
Jared: Anybody have anything to say to Jensen? *fans scream* Jared: I’ll translate: *SCREAMS*
Jensen says thank you all very much, the SPN family just keeps growing, everybody's healthy and happy, I'm very happy to report.
Jared said Gen called him. Wants another baby after holding the twins. He reminded her that she’s already pregnant! Gen's parents, who are here, will have another grandbaby.
They talk abut the bass player taking the burger, that's what they mean by  -drop the bass line.
Jared asks for a round of applause for In-N-Out.
Likes and dislikes about their character.
Jared would like Sam to dress more weather appropriately because heat rises, and he has waterproof shoes which keep everything in. In the episode called bugs, Sam wore Puma shoes, it was October, where it rained 8 inches, so they got Sam waterproof boots, which is like a sweat suit, nothing gets in – or out.
Jensen – nice segueway, I dislike my characer is stuck sitting in a car with someone who smells bad, but like that it's THAT car.
Question on pranks. Jensen: Wanna take this, Jared?
Jared says on some sets, the crew are afraid of the lead actors, so can't prank them, so the best one was Kim Manners who poured buckets of cold water on them.  He had to get his cast replaced next day. Pranks gone wrong! But the retaliation makes him happy.
Jensen remembers Misha and Jared … audience screams as Jared takes his beanie off and shakes his hair. Jared rubs his hair on Jensen's shoulder, and Jensen says ' it's all fun and games until it starts fallin' out.
Jensen stands up and announces Jared’s father-in-law onto the stage! Richard Gere, ladies and gentlemen. Mr Batt has a photo and a sharpie, so they sign. Jensen says there are kids out there going who's Richard Gere. Jensen signs and Mr Batt asks why he signed … Jensen says what, Jensen?  and Jared? and that's him, (and amends his signature) – put your glasses on.
Misha and Jared were pranking each other back and forth and Jared asked how much it would be to replace Misha's car. Jensen said no.
So, Jared says, Jensen was going to bring one of his cars from Austin up to Vancouver. But you can’t ship cars internationally without the owner being present, so he sent it to Misha’s place in Washington. Misha, being the friend that he is, was like okay, let’s let Jensen’s car be parked in our driveway, we’ll move our car to the street. In the middle of the night Misha’s car got rammed into and totaled. Boys crack up and high-five each other (vid) And we only had to pay the guy 100 bucks, don't tell Misha, he thinks it was an accident. Pranks gone right, pranks gone perfect!
Jared’s greatest fear? "Greatest", like… Sharks riding elephants with laser eyes (lol). Really, it’s bears.  His father-in-law and mother-in-law live in Idaho where there are bears!
Boys call each other Jerk and Bitch and laugh at the audience reaction. Jensen isn't scared of bears, you can shoot bears. Jared has an app. Jensen: ! You live in central Texas (where there aren't any).
Jared is showing/explaining the Scare Bear app – it's a prank app, they must have thought "you want an app to scare bears? well…" it's 8.99, and it plays jingle bells. Jensen is teasing him, trying to imagine Jared pulling out his phone trying to bring up the app while a bear is coming at him. Jensen: “Apparently that is a legitimate fear of his because he has a completely useless app on his phone.” (vid)
Jensen says he isn’t afraid of anything.

Boys are asked about how they get through tough times. Jared: jog, or do anything that makes you focus on that instead – like chasing kids.
Jensen: whiskey…just kidding…vodka…just kidding…beer. I don't know, try to distract myself. Jared- you had some anxiety on Thursday, what did you do.
Jensen: You know what I did.  I can speak about this because I went through a very anxious week, I tend to go into shutdown mode. I realised that I would just go blank, staring off as if I was thinking but it was just white noise. I get fidgety but try to keep busy, surround myself with friends, the last week was filming with a lot of friends, joking around – laughter is a key element for me to allieviate stress.
What is you favorite thing to do with the family?
Jared loves doing Sunday breakfast with the family. It may be Tuesday, not necessarily on a Sunday, but the day I'm going to leave, we do some puzzles with the kids, cook eggs and bacon and cinnamon rolls and pancakes, low key…
Jensen- low calorie –
Jared, we're all at the house, because the kids go to school during the week, so turning on cartoons, it reminds me of my family, good time spent together, as the day goes on, you have responsibilities. But there's a magic couple of hours in the morning, chilling, kids are chilled, taking the dog or chickens out or whatever.
Jensen we don't necessarily have a name for it, those quiet moments, when we've just woken up and we're all in the kitchen making breakfast, or in the evening,
now there are two more of us there's gonna be some new things, which I'm really excited about, but previously just the three of us sitting on the couch even if it's a child's movie.
And – this was something I dreamed about as soon as I knew we were having a girl – carrying her up to bed. And every time that happens my heart expands, and a few weeks ago she woke up and touched my face and said Daddy you’re so strong  — that was one of my favorite moments.
Fan: hockey, so being in Dallas and Vancouver who would you support? Jared, in San Antonio, we have a minor team, but I didn't know Texas had a hockey team until I read that Texas Stars won the Stanley Cup, so I'd have to go with Canucks, because I learned about hockey from them. And what is hockey? Jensen: where's your patriotism!
When the LA Kings won a cup, Vancouver were the number one team, they lost in the first round to LA, and I was still living in LA (2012), and came back up and the crew were very upset. I said (playing dumb) uhh hey guys, guess what, apparently LA has a hockey team and we just won the Stanley award, what happened to your team?? haha I got so much hatred for that, I loved it.
The Texas Stars, which used to be the Minnesota North Stars, right, little fun fact for you hockey people… (that's all I know) came to Dallas just when I moved out to the west coast, that was never really around growing up, I don't have a tie to the Stars, I have more knowledge of the Canucks because I've been there for 15 years, but if I came down to it, …. I'd choose a US team.
For Jared – How many chickens have you got? Jared – we had 8 chickens, we now have 6, that's all I'll say, we had to give away our rooster, because, well, we have Shep and neighbors.
Do you guys cook?
Jared – Thanksgiving was fun, I had an 18lb turkey, marinated it, brined it, and had some friends over, poured some of his (Jensen's) beer out of a keg. I like classic veggies, like grilled broccoli.
Jensen makes fun of the veggies, don't lead with broccoli, lead with the steak. (parody) I really like to peel the Brussels sprouts, taking the leaves off, cutting into quarters and sautee in a light mustard sauce…
Like Jared, I was blessed with a wife who is very talented in the kitchen, Danneel does a lot of cooking from scratch, she inherited her mother's skill, I got lucky there. She was not up to sepeed this Thanksgiving, (lol)  I know, right, so I spent 9 hours prepping Wednesday. Jared – he was wearing a welding mask.
No, they were onion goggles, and they work. We're up in Vancouver a lot, they serve us breakfast and lunch on set, we only get a second meal about once a year, but I avoid eating too much on set, so I take leftovers from lunch and I usually chop everything up and sautee it.
Most important character development for your character from season 1?
Jared – age before beauty
Jensen – I've got to stand up for this, OK April… points – grey hair.
Jared, points – twins.
Jensen flexes both biceps. Jared fangirls. Jensen, there's a lot of serious answers, I'll pick one.
In the beginning Dean didn’t realize that this is his calling. He’s content with being beside his brother fighting. Dean’s biggest growth is realizing the totality of what they are doing and that it is his calling.
“Fighting alongside and for his brother.”
Jared on Sam’s evolution: Learning what can I do going forward; pain happens but you deal with it. There's a quote, what's the best way to say this?
Jensen (mocking): the quote, itself. Jared, blah blah…
Pain is mandatory, suffering is optional. Jensen nods and agrees as Jared discusses how pain is going to happen to everybody: “Fighting that and trying to will that not to happen is what causes suffering. Seeing it for what it is and going like, okay, this is the situation, I can’t change the past, what can I do from this moment forward to try and make amends, try and make everything work, try and make it better. I think that’s where Sam has come to terms – he tried to cut out pain. He thought, like, my brother, my father, the loss of my mother, if I just cut them out then pain is gone. I think he realized pain happens anyways and he learned to go with the flow and learn how to deal with it. (vid)
For Jensen, you made a movie with Danneel called Ten Inch Hero, you were friends before, did you realise you were in love during or after the movie?
We filmed that in San Pedro, about an hour south of LA, and every day because we were already friends we would commute to work, and it was just she and I, somedays I'd drive, some she would drive, and we never really had quiet time alone in the five years so we didn't really know each other on a quiet friendship level, and it was on those rides the friendship started to blossom and grew into something else.
Last question: Will they get to the point where they accept Crowley as a good guy? Jensen: You think he'll be folded into the tribe, so to speak? Jared, Sam is once bitten, twice shy when it comes to his relationships with demons. The last one he had with a demon led to two children and one on the way.  I can’t speak for Misha but I know the whole angel/demon thing, there’s probably always going to be a little rift. However, Dean has had the closest relationship of all with Crowley so what does he say, Mr. Ackles?   Jensen: If Mark could learn his lines …
I think he will be a peripheral contact, our man on the inside as far as the underworld goes. That’s all I got” (vid)
