Jared panel (v1) (v2)
Jared JIBCon 2017 Sunday Panel (x)

Jared warns everyone that he's tired and jetlagged and jumps right into questions.
Fan talks about Sam's development over the show, how he didn't want to be a hunter to now leading other hunters against the British Men of Letters asks Jared to comment on that journey. Jared says that he knows what it's like to have an older brother that leads the pack. It has been fun to play Sam as sort of a man on his own. Show started when he was 22 and he'll be 35 in July. It's been cool to get the chance to play the transformation of a young boy to a leader. Hopefully we'll see more of that.
Jared is really tired and tells the audience now is the perfect time to ask him weird questions lol. Says he texted Gen when he woke up and said Morning, baby, I miss you. Gen was like, it's 1 a.m. why are you texting me. Jared: Oh, oh yeah, no, cool. Good talk lol.
A fan asks what Jared's favorite emoji is. Because of her accent he thinks that she said music. So he goes on to talk about how we've been pretty public about a band called Kaleo. He and Jensen have been lucky enough to make friends with them. Jared says, It's a weird world Jensen and I live in. He thinks Kaleo are amazing from lyrics to all of the instruments, etc, and when they met the band it was fun to discover how they are just people, too. Jared hopes that fans feel the same when we meet the Supernatural cast, that they're all just normal people.
Fans inform Jared that he misunderstood the question and that she had asked about his favorite emoji. Jared tries to pull it up on his phone so that he can show it to them on the screen. He says he's texting it to Jensen in response to the text Jensen sent him earlier that morning saying: "You know we have a convention today" because Jared slept through his alarm. Jared giggles about Jensen's text.
Jared's favorite emoji is the surprised happy face one.
Fan talks (essentially) about the difference between Sam being tortured by humans versus by a monster. Jared says it's a good observation, thinks that episodes like The Benders mess with the Winchesters more because the bad guys are human beings. Brings up Dean's line about demons I get but people are crazy.
Jared's hand hits the bottom of the mic and it makes a loud noise. He apologizes, has the fans help him apologize in Italian.
Fan congratulates Jared on the new baby and Jared shows a picture of Odette on his phone. Her picture is his lockscreen, and he complains about the time being in the middle of her face.
Fan asks about Phantom Boy. Jared says he did that project last summer. It was a French animated movie, Jared watched it and they asked Jared to do the role. He recorded the dialogue in Austin at a hotel room. They would take breaks and go down to the pool. His friend who is a voice actor and an actor helped direct him. It was intimidating, it was a weird situation to try this brand new thing. It was fun to be a part of.
How do you think Sam would handle having a baby girl? Jared says he thinks it would be a funny thing to see one of the Winchesters have a kid. He thinks Sam would be mortified. Says that having kids is very cool but vulnerability inducing situation. Best and hardest thing Jared has ever done. Jared says he had a nightmare last night about his kids and it woke him up and he knew he wasn't going to be able to go back to bed. He thinks Sam would be out of sorts. Thinks it would be one of the first situations where Sam would be like I don't know what to do. Let's hope we never see that.
Fan tells Jared she really enjoyed his chapter in the new Fangasm book, Family Don't End With Blood (FDEWB). Wants to know if he'll consider writing in the future? Jared says, honestly, no. Said it was difficult, took him a year to write it. It was one of those things where he told a friend he would do it, so he did it. But as he started doing it he was nervous and anxious. It was hard because he didn't write it all in a day. He doesn't do well with picking things up later on. As he wrote it over time he would go back to the beginning and read and would change things. It was difficult; he does feel proud of it, though. He's never written before. It's all me. He was trying to go deep for y'all guys. Jared says, It's the most private I'll ever get.
Fan asks Jared if Sam will have a special connection with the Nephilim, Jack, because Sam is the eternal vessel of Lucifer. Jared says yes. He thinks it's why they made it so Sam is the one that found him in the last scene of the finale. Thinks that Sam will maybe be able to appeal to his intellectual side, but we don't know a lot about the Nephilim yet but he thinks that Jack will have a connection with Sam.
Fan tells a story about how she had said before that she loves Jared's beanies but the fan's friend misheard her and thought she said penis and was scandalized. Results in a lot of joking and laughter from Jared and the audience. This is a first.
Fan asks how Jared would feel about doing a science fiction episode re: aliens or something more broad scale. He says they would love to do that type of science fiction episode.
Jared is loopy from being so tired and says if anyone's ever wondered what it's like to hang out with him at 2 a.m. at work it's this lol.
Jared grew up up a fan of Star Trek with his dad. Watched all the original episodes, says we beat their ass episode number wise haha.
Fan calls out 500 episodes! and Jared drops mic lol. Jared: 500?!
Jared broke the mic and someone brought him another one. Messing around on stage and losing his shoe.
Fan says that people who are close over a long period of time develop particular habits that only really come out when they are with that person. Wants to know if he's noticed that with any of the cast that he's worked with a long time? Jared laughs: Short answer is yes. He won't say who or what, though lol.
Jared talks about idols. Says there a lot of people he idolizes. One of them lost his life to suicide a couple days ago – mentions Chris Cornell (RIP). He says that he has met some idols and sometimes they are disappointing or not nice. He had a fellow actress tell him a story about how her dad came to work with her and her dad went up to Anthony Hopkins and was chatting with him. Hopkins was amazing but the daughter was mortified: Dad, you can't just walk up to Anthony Hopkins..and her dad was like, why? We're all breathing oxygen. Jared loves that. We're all human, including everyone in the green room (the rest of the cast). We love y'all as much as you love us.
Is there a characteristic of Sam that Jared has and one that Jared has that Sam doesn't? Jared says a good writer will look at your strengths and who you are as a person and start writing that better to your character. Talks about how Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls is very much like her character; she is super smart and funny and quick. Jared feels like he booked the role because he was similar to Sam and Sam became kind of like Jared. Not questioning himself so much (either Sam or Jared). Sam still deals with a lot of issues that Jared has had the love and support to not deal with though it's in his nature to deal with those things. What's different is Jared feels more comfortable with himself than Sam does. For the first time in a long time. As far as similarities, they both have really luscious hair. Just kidding. He liked Sam's intellect from the start. Jared likes to learn about something and read about it, do the research like Sam, and feels that type of connection with him.
Fan asks what Sam admires the most about Dean. Jared says that Sam loves that Dean has the will to keep going, to always keeps fighting. Jared himself also loves when people keep fighting through their trials.
A fan runs up to the mic apologizing and tells Jared that she ran up because they were told to sit down because he was almost finished. Jared: Fuck yeah!
She wants to know if Jared misses Sam during hiatus or on break? Jared says he does miss Sam, it's one of the reasons why he agrees to keep continuing.
I love Sam. He's not Jared but I know him. He feels maybe the audience knows Sam better in terms of his actions (because they rewatch the show more) but Jared knows his heart and motivations.
When the show ends Jared says it's gonna be really tough. When it does end they have talked about movies or shortened seasons.
Jared says that he will never keep Sam alive just to keep him alive. He only wants Sam to exist as long as there's commitment to the character from the writers. If one day they are no longer committed to Sam then he would rather have him in our memories.
But, yeah, I miss that fucker.

Jensen panel
(v1 v2 v3)
Jensen: I don't think I need any apple juice this morning. Adam Fergus wanted to keep drinking earlier this morning – he might be the reason the rest of the cast is hungover.
How was Jared this morning? Heard he was awesome? Jensen says that when he had his breakfast this morning, eating eggs, drinking coffee. Some more coffee. Anyone heard from Jared this morning?
(v) Jensen eating breakfast, asked where's Jared, nobody had seen him so he went to wake him up, banged really loudly on the door, saying we have to work today.
Jared (very sleepy): again! now?!
Jensen: no, not now, an hour ago.
Jensen: I'm always the big brother, some questions?

If Jensen was part of Magic Mike what would his signature move be? Says his character would be Fantastic Fed and he demonstrated it and it would be pantless. He swings around – you don't want to be in the front row for that one. Delete that. My mom's going to see that, this is embarrassing. Jensen hears there might be more Magic Mike', calls Channing Tatum a slut. Laughs and said just kidding I don't know him, he's probably a slut.
Would Dean give up sex or favorite five foods? Jensen says that Dean'll live on salad.
Dean's fav food: Pie, burgers, tacos, pizza and beer. Says that he could probably put that away since he's a lover of the ladies. Jensen raises his eyebrows hilariously.. one of the many things we have in common.
The writers include the lore in the script and there is a whole lot of research that they do for the show. We have amazing writers, they do their research.
He talks about the Regarding Dean episode,
Rowena touching Dean's nose in that episode was unscripted. Jensen says he and Jared love working with Ruth because she always catches them off guard which is so much fun.
Jensen: that was my favorite episode, it gave me a chance to play. After 12 years, to be given an opportunity to stretch different facets was exciting and fun. There was a lot of comedy which I love, I'm not a comedic actor, but I have an affinity for comedy in drama, I was able to do a lot of that but it came full circle, in the mirror scene, and it got a totally different tone. They set up the camera, there was no mirror it was a camera lens, this close, focus puller, dolly grip and then the crew, I thought just imagine it's a mirror, thank god I have a good imagination, and I remember telling John Badham, it's late, last scene of the day, everyone wants to go home, just keep the cameras rolling, I'll go through a couple of times. The whole set up time, I'll do this a couple of times, it was one take, so I was really happy with it, I hope you all were too. I think they used the third one, or maybe second, I did it 3 times and then they yelled cut and I was like, Nailed it! Bye now. Getting in in one take is always a prideful thing, because we can move along quicker, but nailing it in one take, you'll hear even the dolly grip, nailed it.
A fan compliments Jensen on his scene with Mary in the finale but Jensen hasn't watched it yet lol.
Jensen notices people are leaving. Finds out they are going to for ops with Misha. For Misha's photo op? No one needs to leave, then.
Jared and Jensen swap advice when they think they could do a scene better. Jensen says Jared does a pretty good job portraying Sam. I would never question his motives for Sam, but if I see him doing a scene and there's a little thing, missing a tiny bit. And he'd do the same for me. We have each other's back there, too. If a director came up to give us a note, like tonal character notes, we'd say I've been playing this character 12 years, shut up. The only person J2 would look to for character notes and suggestions is each other. Jensen and Jared are the only ones who are allowed to give each other character notes.
In the scene where Amara said she was going to give Dean what he needed, Jensen thought it was going to be John, not Mary. JDM isn't available, though.
Jensen wasn't sure about Dean's relationship with Mary and how to approach that.
He realized what Dean needed most was to forgive Mary. When he saw the script for 12×22 he thought, Ah, there it is. He says that scene cleared up the whole season for him.
It was a cathartic scene for Dean. Jensen wasn't expecting to cry, though the script called for it, which the writers never do, so that was unusual direction. For the whole season he was unsure about the relationship, and I didn't know why either, I love Smaantha, but from a character standpoint, it wasn't cohesive and I struggled to find that connection because there was a lack of a connection. All the relationships, with Sam, Crowley, have a place. Making sense of what the darkness had said last season, when I got the script and read the scene, I was like, Ah, there it is, that is what Dean needed, to firgive his mother. Robert Berens was on set that day, to watch his episode get filmed, I walked up to him and said thank you for clearing up the entire season for me, in respect to Dean/Mary, and he was like "how do you mean"? So, he was like what? So, I don't know if he was messing with me, it was the happiest accident, that's what I played for me, this is why you came back, God gave you back, for this cathartic moment. I was very happy with that turn. I wasn't going to cry, I read it,. like no, screw you, I told Bob that, don't write that, if it happens, OK but don't make me feel bad for it not happening. But I was flooded with the emotion, and it was a real moment, I felt for Dean because I knew what that meant for him, to be able to emote a character you care so deeply about, I'm a lucky guy to do that for 12 years.
Daniela tells crowd to stop periscoping! Jensen looks scared and bows to her, and spins the wheel.

Jensen spins the wheel, it lands on drink so he takes a glass.
Jensen:Are these clean or has Adam already drunk from them?. That apple juice is strong! I've got to leave now? One more question.
Dean forgiving everyone? What do you think? Dean holds more of a grudge than Jensen: I tend to let things go, because life's too short. Dean holds a lot of resentment, which people identify with, I do too, which is why I make the effort to let it go.
Long question –
One of the greatest joys of my life is playing a character for so long, peeling it back, unfolding all of the layers. A movie has a beginning, middle and end, but I haven't seen the end yet, the brothers have time to process what they are dealing with. What they were given by their parents, these men, we used to say boys – to go from boys to men. I went to a Boys2Men concert once, fun fact. To see what they have done with what they have been dealt is one of the great triumphs of this show. Thank you. Thank you everybody, I love you guys, I love my apple juice, and oops that just fell in there.
Jared M&G (x)

JIB8 – Jared M&G storySo, like last year, I was once again lucky enough to have a Jared Meet&Greet, and got to be close to a tired yet focused Jared Padalecki (who'd just woken up from a nap in between his autograph session and his M&G). (Jensen's stunt double joined us for Jared's M&G)
Jared's chapter in 'Family Don't End With Blood' was mentioned and whether or not he would consider writing a book. His answer was no. He said he'd spent a whole year writing that chapter and, besides not having a lot of time on his hands, he'd had some anxiety writing it (I guess because he was afraid it wasn't good enough). However, Jared said he felt like he owed it to us to be honest about it all. I admit I was struggling not to tear up at this point, having not only read his chapter but had been in Rome during JIB6 when Jared had gone through his breakdown.
A woman mentioned her reason behind telling Jared a funny story during his solo panel (the beenie/penis story – I'm sure there're videos of it if someone doesn't know what I'm talking about), that it was because people often tell Jared sad stories and she therefore wanted to make him laugh instead. She also said that he took on too much on his shoulders, that he was not alone in this, and that we were all there to carry some of the weight with him. Jared appreciated that. He also got some questions about his love for watches, his ‘Venatore's wine (Jared said he could talk forever about his love for both watches and wine) and his favorite author. By then, the M&G was almost over but Jared luckily picked me to ask the last question. My question was: “When you do emotional scenes on the show with Jensen, do you think of something sad? Or does the emotion come natural to you after working together for so long and being so close in real life?“
Jared said it was a great question. He said that he, in the beginning of the show, did think of sad things to bring out that kind of emotion, but proceeded to say that he doesn't do that anymore. Jared said that he hates when the script says “Sam cries“ (which is something Jensen also mentioned in his solo panel) because he doesn't wanna cry unless he feels like the scene calls for it. So if someone writes that in a script or if a director tells him to cry, he'll say “I appreciate you saying it but I've known this character for 12 years, so please don't ever tell me that again”. Jared mentioned the scene in 12×22 where Dean and Sam had to break through the wall in the bunker. It wasn't supposed to be an emotional scene, but he and Jensen had felt like the scene called for it. Jared then said that he couldn't remember if Sam cried during that scene, and I remarked “Well, I did!“ which made Jared laugh. He mentioned the church scene between Dean and Sam in the episode “Sacrifice“ and how it was originally scripted that Sam should be all tough about it and practically yell his words at Dean. However, that wasn't what the scene called for. When they'd gone through the scene, Jared (as Sam) had felt the emotion and had teared up, so that's the direction he had to go with the scene (and thank God for that since it's one of my favorite scenes!) He continued to talk about how the brain knows the emotion isn't real but the body doesn't, so it's tough having to do emotional scenes – especially when 5 minutes in a scene takes like 14 hours to film. Jared then said something that had me struggling not to tear up again. He talked about how Sam is a tough guy who, nine out of ten times, tries to hold back his tears rather than show them because he wants to be strong. Jared remarked that crying is not a sign of weakness – that you're also strong when you cry – but that Sam tries to hold it in. Which, Jared said, was also an emotionally draining thing to do. Both for him and Sam.
Note: During his talk about the church scene and how Sam always tries to be tough and not cry, I swear Jared's eyes turned wet for a second (as well as my eyes did). Whether it was because of what he said or because he was just tired, I can't know for sure – but I was sitting pretty close to him and he was looking straight into my eyes at the time. Anyways, Jared also talked about how guest stars often get something (I don't remember what he called it. Crystallized something) sprayed into their eyes to be able to cry. Jared has only tried that one time, and that was when he was in House of Wax. His character had to cry but Jared couldn't do it because he had to sit completely still in the scene (where he's been waxed) and couldn't use his facial expressions. That was the only time he'd ever needed help to cry in a scene.
Report 2 (google translated) (x)
So Jared came in, said hello and hugged a guy from staff, and then introduced us to Tom, Jensen's stand-in (the replacement actor who is in the frame when staging the scene before the shoot)
After Jared and Tom sat down, Jared greeted everyone again, asked how things were, and got up to get himself something to drink. The people answered that things were good, and there was a short pause. Nobody dared to start the conversation until Jared returned to his place. Then I asked in response: "And how are you?", To which he said: "Well, I will not wake up in any way yet. I just woke up. "
When Jared sat down again at the table, there was a knock at the door, but no one came. Actually, the door was locked, as far as we understood. Jared looked back at the door, looked at the guy from the staff, then at Tom and asked: "Is this Ackles?"  "Is he fucking with me again? ". Then he laughed, like everyone else.
The first question was about his chapter for the book of Fangazma, and whether he plans to write a book in the future. Earlier in his morning panel, Jared answered a similar question, here he gave a more detailed and more emotional answer.
When asked if he planned to write a book, he answered "No", even writing this chapter was not easy for him. He wrote it for almost a year, in several parts.
He had too little free time to write everything at once.  Jared said that he felt obligated to us, fans, he had to be honest with us.
He had to, he had to write everything sincerely, and he was very worried that it would turn out badly, because he wrote as he says, a little messy, without trying to use elegant phrases. He wrote as he felt.
He quickly asked if we had read this book and his chapter, most of the fans said "Yes". He once again thanked everyone for their support, for the fact that we, the fans, give him so much energy and love, which, in particular, helped him to withstand, and then gave the strength to write this chapter. At that moment, his eyes were moistened not only by Jared, but also by all present in this room. After that, Jared shook himself, said that he was proud of his head and of us for our continued support. And we moved on to the next question.
So, following Zonya raised her hand, and said that she deliberately decided not to ask a question, but to tell Jared this funny story that happened to her, because fans often tell him sad stories, especially after his campaign "Always Keep Fighting." And she wanted to make him laugh. She added that he must know – all that weight, and the burden that he carries on his shoulders – he is not alone. We are close.
And we share this burden with him. It was an incredible moment. They all obviously stuck in the throat. Everyone nodded in agreement, and Jared was pleasantly amazed by these words, he sincerely thanked her. And then Zonya added that she always wants to celebrate her birthday, one of her relatives, once decided not to do it, said "Next year", and the next year for her did not come. We should be proud of the years gone by and do not be embarrassed by them, I'm 45, and I'm fucking proud of that! Therefore, please, always celebrate your birthdays.  Jared patted her, thanked him and suggested moving on to the next question.
The next question was about Jared's love for watches.
Jared said he has liked collecting watches from his youth. He still keeps his watch with Mickey Mouse, which he received as a child. (a few years ago, he said at a con that he was given this watch when he was five years old). He prefers watches with a traditional dial, but in general he is not a snob and with respect to digital. "I have an Apple clock, so …". He also keeps the watches of each character he played, although some were sold for charity. He said that he bought his father a watch from his first salary in "Gilmore Girls.", and he still has it.
Jared added that he once told his father that in many, many years he would take this watch as his father's legacy. And he laughed at the topic that he was sort of like he bought it for himself, counting on it in the future. Of the Jared brands of watches I only remember Omega and Apple, although he named a few more. I'm not sure if he called Rolex, as we know, he definitely has it. Jared said this phrase, why, he believes, he loves watches. "Time can not be bought for any money," and added with a laugh, "Apparently, therefore, I'm buying a watch."
Someone asked if Jared was thinking about directing "Supernatural".
Jared replied that yes, he thought about it, and a lot.
But realized that he did not want to do this. He loves his work, he loves acting. He added that Jensen is good at combining these two things, then he portrayed Jensen, the director, as the commander: "So, Dean is in the frame, and does this and that," and then Jensen is on the other side of the camera performing his own command. At that moment, a fly flew to Jared too, because he started to wave it away.
Then Jared continued to answer, if he says "I want to direct," he will be given an episode, because he is also the lead actor of this series, like Jensen, who has directed several episodes already.
But Jared believes that there are more worthy people in their team who have worked with them for many years and who have a great desire to do so, and the vision necessary for this.
Jared is not sure that he has the necessary skills for directing, and he loves this show too much and does not want to spoil it. In addition, directing takes the extra couple of weeks from their vacation, and he wants to be with his family longer. And then, laughing, he added that he likes to relax in the pool with the children and send Jensen pictures of his rest while he works like a dog preparing to shoot his episode.
(Jensen said in his meet-greet that he will not direct this year as he promised at one of the last cons.) Danneel told him to direct, if he wants, because he loves it, but he thought about it and decided not to do it and spend more time with his family, at the brewery, etc. Thanks to Julia Ingunn for this information.)
I said that I love reading, so I would like to ask what his favorite writer and favorite book is.
Jared thought. He said that in general, there are a lot of them. But, perhaps, he would sing Jon Krakauer. Then he said a couple of names. Jared, as a rule, answers all the questions in detail, and at the same time almost always looks at the one whose question he answers with, only occasionally glancing at the others. When you look at him with great attention and these impossibly beautiful eyes, it's hard to clearly understand…
He said that he likes it when literature teaches something, gives an incentive to discover something new in himself. He asked if we had watched the Everest movie, he had just got Krakauer's book "In thin air".
Jared said that much in such stories touches him, as a man overcomes himself, difficulties, as he finds strength in himself. He likes to learn something new, so he reads more books  whose authors have visited somewhere and describe what they have experienced. So, to single out one person, he would choose Krakauer. I told him that his wife Genevieve, too, loved Krakauer.
Jared: "Seriously? How do you know?". I: "She talked about this when she answered the fans' questions on her Instagram page, and among others mentioned Kracauer." Jared: "Cool. Yes, Gen likes that kind of thing, too." Next Jared said that it is difficult for him to name his favorite book now, because he hasn't read fiction in recent years, due to lack of time. He likes to read, but …
Jared said, "It sounds like an excuse, right?" After all, I still have some free time, "I said:" No, it does not, there are many other things, but there is not much time. "
He laughed and added that he is now like his children, so if it was animated or shot as a film, he would have looked. To which Zonya  said to him: "Well, at least you don't have to watch Cold Heart for the hundredth time!
At that, Jared cried indignantly: "Who? I'm not looking ?! Even as I look! ", he's seen this cartoon, thanks to his children. Since he does not read fiction now, he will name a book that has always been his favorite and still is, – The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald (which we all knew, basically).
Ombrett said that she really liked his wine Venatore, and asked about his love for wine in general. Then Jared said that he can talk about watches and wine for hours, because this is his passion. He noted that he does not just collect watches, he can tell everyone about their history. So with wine, he likes to know where and how the grapes were grown, from which it is made, how it was made, etc. He really enjoyed working on the creation of this issue of Venatore. Jared: "You do not drink wine to get drunk. Type: "Dude, I want to get drunk before losing my pulse. No, wine is not at all about this. "
Then the staff said that there was only one question left, a question about emotional scenes in SPN and about how he plays them, how hard they are given to him.
And when they shoot joint emotional scenes with Jensen, does he think about something sad, or does everything come by itself, because they have been working together for many years and are closely friends in real life?
Jared said this is an excellent question. At the beginning of the series he was thinking about something sad that would help him tune in, cause the emotions necessary for the scene, but now he does not need it any more. He hates to be "forced" to cry when the script says "here Sam is crying", because he does not want to cry if he does not have the feeling that in this particular scene it is so necessary. And when it's written in the script, or someone from the directors makes him cry (which, as he noted, is very rare, and only with newcomers to their series), he responds that he appreciates their words, but for so many years he has already Very well studied his character, and asks not to tell him that "Sam here is simply obliged to do it."
Jared mentioned the scene in episode 12.22, where Sam and Dean sit side by side and talk after they blew up Bunker's wall. This scene, he said, was not supposed emotional as such, but he and Jensen felt that she needed it. And when Jared sees that he does not remember if Sam was crying, the girl who asked the question said, "Well, I definitely did it!" And Jared laughed.
Then he cited one more scene as an example. From the final episode of the 8th season (8.23 "Sacrifice"). That scene in the church between Sam and Dean was written differently. Initially, Sam should have been angry with shouting Dean his words. But filming the scene seemed different to them. The first time, Jared felt emotion rush on him, and he shed a tear, so he played it exactly as he did. Then he said that they had talked to Jensen more than once about the shooting of emotional scenes – that the brain realizes that you pretend that emotions are not real, but the body does not understand it, that's why such scenes are very hard.
Especially considering that a five-minute scene can be shot up to 14 hours, and when you are forced to return to this state with each new take, after each break, while a new frame is being built, it is very exhausting. Then Jared said that Tom can confirm this, to which Tom nodded and noticed that yes, five minutes of the stage, several pages of text, can take a whole working day, it all depends on the scene.
Then Jared said that Sam is one of those guys who, in 9 out of 10 cases, try to hold back tears rather than show them. Because he wants to be strong. But tears are not a sign of weakness, you show your strength and when you cry, but Sam tries, if possible, to contain them. What is also very emotionally exhausting. And himself as an actor, and Sam.
Jared repeated what he hated when he had to cry, if he did not feel that there was a need for the scene, and added that the invited actors usually "help" with fake tears. Jared used this method only once, on the film "House of Wax", when his character had to cry. But Jared could not do it, because in that scene he was completely covered in wax, and he had to sit absolutely still, and he could not use his facial expression. And this was the only time he needed help to cry in the scene. He was splashed into the eye with some special crystals, so that a tear would flow out.
Jared's MG ended, he thanked all of us again for the meeting and for the support, and he and Tom left the room, and then some fans went out, others stayed on for the second Jensen MG, which was next.
Jared and Misha panel (v)

Jared got a toy microphone again, this time plastic. Misha: New and improved.
Jared is thanking the fans since this is his last panel he has today. He says he and Rome have an interesting history and it always makes him happy when the weekend goes by “safe and sound” and without drama. Misha says they met someone who started watching the show when she was 13 and now she's retired lol.
They are doing a “very scientific” age demographic of the audience.
Misha: “We're talking about how old we feel, this is the theme of this panel.”
Jared says difference between today and 8 years ago: Today he napped, 8 years ago he passed out.
Misha opened a water bottle and spilled it and while drinking it he spilled again so Jared imitated him and did the same. Misha snorted water on Jared while Jared was imitating him.
Sam was very religious, then it dimmed after meeting angels, Cas feels misplaced.
How did Sam and Cas influence each other (call back to JIBCon last year ;))
Jared: Sometimes Misha doesn't know when he influences
Sam is not as “influential” as he'd like to be. Sam likes naps.
Boys are cracking up over the innuendo and each other.
Jared and Misha keep getting distracted while fans are asking questions because they keep teasing each other.
If Jared wrote an ep he would be asleep in Austin. Would miss a lot of BDSM in the bunker.

If Misha directed it would be very “influential.”
Misha: Good ep gives you the chills. And “how few scenes am I in it?”
Fan asks about exposure in the public eye and things go downhill. Jared and Misha are stuck making sexual innuendos about everything
The question can't even be asked to the end, because Jared and Misha just laugh.
Fan: Is that something you take as it comes? Misha loses it.
(v)
Jared, cracking up: Misha seems to like to take it as it comes.
Jared thinks Misha should write a book titled this bit in caps: A GREAT IDEA – then you see above and below the title is actually "it seemed like A GREAT IDEA at the time"
If Misha could be anyone for a day he would be Donald Trump and retire and banish himself to prison.
Jared: If I could vote for a president for the rest of my life it would be Michelle Obama. Says he would vote for her for however many years we can get 🙂
If Jared could be anyone for a day he would love to be Paul McCartney because he had a front seat to changes in our society.
Jared asked the question back to the fan and the fan said she would be Genevieve for a day and he hugged her.
What would they want the alternate world in s13 to be?
Misha: In s13 for myself Jared: Cas is dead. Misha mouths to Jared stupid, stupid, stupid (because of the spoiler).
Jared and Misha have intense whispered discussion about what they are allowed to say about s13.
Misha likes the idea of having a Cas in the AU that hasn't met the boys yet and he tries to meet them or Sam and Dean meet him. He also wants him to be 8 inches taller lol.
Jared accidentally calls Misha Cas. Tells story about how their A.D. Kevin Parks still sometimes calls Jared Jensen even though it's been 12 years lol.
Jared would want to have an AU where they can bring people back like Charlie.
Jared tells a story about running into Felicia Day on a flight from L.A. to Austin after being in Australia, I'd just flown Brisbane to Sydney to LA. He heard her say “Hey Jared” Jared was like: Charlie! You're alive! Told her he missed and loved her. She was on her way to visit her mom in Austin with her baby 🙂

Someone brought up Jared spoiling Misha's return yesterday when he talked about the Scooby-Doo episode and Jared tried to act like it's not true and then he just whispered fuck.
Misha: None of us have any idea what's coming down the pipe (laughter about dirty jokes) Misha: What's going through the tunnel.
Misha is making sexual innuendos on purpose to make Jared laugh.
(v)
Misha: Nothing is certain in the Supernatural universe. Jared: There is only one episode written so far and it's an alternate universe (the Scooby-Doo ep).
Two fans come up and want to ask a question together. Jared: I want you to say a word each lol. The girls nail it but when Jared and Misha try to answer using alternating words they are not doing as well. The question was about what songs would Dean put on the mixtape and Jared and Misha tried to respond using alternating words resulting in shenanigans.
Someone else goes to ask a question. Jared says: “beat” and waits for Misha to finish what he's saying. Jared repeats: BEAT and Misha finally says: THAT and then Misha says: I thought you were gonna say beat off or something.
Question about how Misha smells. Jared smells Misha. Misha says he smells like cinnamon and watermelon. Jared smells Misha's crotch. Misha said the cinnamon is on top, watermelon on bottom lol.

Jensen Misha panel
Carry On Wayward Son (v)
(v)
Jensen: That is awesome, the hairs on my arm are standing up.
Misha: I saw Jared do this, (sitting on chair backwards) so people can't stare at your crotch.
Jensen: Oh I enjoy showing my crotch, ha, I love the house lights go up, let's see how deep it goes. Jensen spreads his legs really widely and tells Misha to pick a leg.

Misha says this is making me uncomfortable I was about to talk about my kids and their car seats. My kids know very little about SPN – we have some dolls of Cas, they call mini-dads.
Jensen: you have big dolls? (laughing)
Misha: West loves Carry on, he has a playlist, I'm sick of it, we have got fireworks, you wouldn't know a lot of this
Jensen: I've got a 4-year-old I've danced to firework (sings, fiiiirework blah blah)
Misha: we've got "the naked dutch painter in the kitchen does not want to fuck you"
Jensen; I'm not familiar with that, is that Katy Perry too?
Misha: Long story short, they sing it in their car seats and have no idea, for me it feels like at a convention.
Jensen: So is what you told me earlier public knowledge? Cause that's a nice segueway. (whispers)
Misha: no! I am so glad you asked.

Jensen: Cause Jared would have just said it, never mind, moving on. (keeps singing firework)
Question (English accent)
Jensen does a very British accent in reply, says she has a twin – hey twins are cool. Real men have twins, that was just a shirt someone sent me, it was pretty cool.

Daniela brings them drinks. Misha says she'd make a terrible spy. She hands Jensen a unicorn, which he throws away. Seriously, it's a unicorn plushie, name it and say goodbye. Stephen,
fuck you Stephen. Stephen doens't like anything, he's not allowed.
Jensen: So, for the third time your question? And say it in an American accent. Jensen does English and Australian accents, badly.
Any superstitions?
Jensen: We travel often, I have to step onto the plane with my right foot first. I'm not a superstitious guy, I don't know why,but it hasn't failed me yet.
Misha: I always wear something akin to orange underwear, I think it's lucky, I've got a sh- a lot of underwear that's not orange.
Jensen: You only really need 8 pairs, do your laundry.
(v)
Misha: I ask myself is today the day you don't need to be lucky, so today it's sort of like this (shows Jensen, who says it's pink)
Jensen: I wish you could see what's going on here (waves at whole crotch area)
underwear comparing clip then turns his back on the audience to show Misha, who is amazed – WHAT THE F!!!   Where did you GET that.
Jensen: You can't unsee that. Grrrar
Q: I asked Jared this, but he was a bit away with the fairies.
Jensen: He's been a fairy all day. He's had a rough time today, Misha kept us out way too long last night.
Q: People who spend a lot of time together develop habits that they only do around each other – do you have anything?
Jensen: I'm thinking… everything is inappropriate.

Misha, I'm going to change the tone, earlier today we met a couple of women.
(v)
Jensen… shit, (goes to get drink)
Misha: Jensen had a tough time after meeting one of these women, 11,000 people signed up to be hotline monitors, this woman has completed 50 hours. Typically we are as a group, a bunch of assholes, 99.9% of the time, but we have moments when we are deeply touched by you guys and it's meaningful, and something might have saved a life, made a day better, it's lovely moments from time to time. It makes being away and all the time worth it.
Jensen: This was kinda what got me, was – So, signing autographs, and some of you guys were probably a part of the situation, I don't know if you remember when Misha walked up with her and said, "Hey, she's one of the counselors that is part of what we set up." I hadn't actually, that hadn't been personified for me yet. So I spoke to you for a brief second, and it was something like, was it fifty hours? Right? Could you stand up?
Fifty hours you'd spent on the phone. And she walked away, and that hit me. That that was fifty hours…
It's hitting me now. Shit.
That something that was spawned out of this (gestures to crowd), and out of this (gestures between himself and Misha) could help people to that degree, to where there was a verified person to counsel somebody, or people, for that amount of time, and she was one of them. And I know that there's many of them. It hit me hard. And I get to look at you, and I get to see you guys, and I know you all have a story, and I wish I could hear and talk to every one of you at length. I don't have that opportunity, but knowing that something that I was a part of helped create that betters people, and inspires people to be a better person. Because – and Jared shared this with me – he's like, No one can help you but yourself. You are the only person that can help yourself. But if you get inspired by something, if something touches you and inspires you and makes you believe something that then helps you help yourself, then that's important.
And she's doing important things. And the fact that I was a small molecule of a thing that helped many people
I don't know. It hit me really, really hard. And I had to take a – I had to take a breather. I had to take a knee. And so I went upstairs to Daniel's room – she was like, You need to come upstairs and I'm like (sniff) Yeah, I think I do.
I remember walking up to her room – I didn't make it. So I held out for maybe like 70 more autographs. I was like, (signing fast while holding back tears) thank you. Mmm thank you. Pfffffft
Misha: He was very flatulent during that time.
Jensen: Yes. That was just the gas. Then we were walking, and I was like, Nope, nope, you're not gonna make it to the elevator.
And I just sat there, and Jared just, like, grabbed me and hugged me. It was like, one of those moments where it's like – This shouldn't exist. Like, from a point of view that is, like, a television show, actor/fan relationship, this probably shouldn't exist. It exists, guys. We feel you. And you mean a shit ton to us. You really do.
(v)
Jensen spins the wheel to lighten the mood. Daniela gives him a stuffed unicorn, which he calls Stephen.
Next question – Dean and Cas are on a motorbike – Misha – that looks like a scooter. What would Dean and Cas do in Rome, on holiday.
Misha: When in Rome – we can't say that any more – in Rome they show each other their underwear. Jensen grins. Don't know how you answer that.
Cas is driving, Misha – Dean can't drive a motorcycle, neither can the actor who plays him.
How do you deal with hate, not to get you down.
Jensen: some deep questions, man. uh late in the day, um, man, I said this earlier, ah, um, I don't necessarily know…
Interrupted by the other actors and Carry On music.

Jensen: Saved by the Bell, speaking of…, I grew up with it, a couple of days ago, Capt Kirk from Star Trek, Shatner tweeted something to me, good job last night, and I said (cough) bullshit, thanks, and Dennis Haskins – Mr Belding – tweeted "Jensen you should frame that tweet"! Mr Belding, and Captain Kirk in the same, thing!
Jensen – so not to pressure her, this is our last Rome convention, right?
Daniela comes on stage to announce another year.
Jensen: thanks everyone you give us so much energy that inspires us.
