J2 are matching in black.
They were sent the s12 gag reel for approval. Jared: It sent me into like…you know where there’s a YouTube rabbit hole where you’re like, oh I’m gonna look at that video on that one thing, four hours later *clicking away* Jensen at YouTube: Stop suggesting videos for me to watch! Jared wanted to watch the other gag reels and is sad because he can no longer do the scream he does at the end of the s1 gag reel where they start screaming in the wrecked Impala. He tries but the scream doesn’t match. Jensen: There’s a lot of things you did in s1 that you can’t do now lol.
Jensen does a Swedish accent. They’ve never been cussed out so much before after a finale: “YOU KILLED EVERYONE”
Jared and Jensen followed the Twitter reaction to the finale while flying. All the sad emojis.
Jensen on the s12 finale: “It’s a slaughterfest!”

J2 are teasing a fan who was raising their hand to ask a question and then did a double take when they were actually picked to ask a question haha.
At some point a fan talks about how Sully told Sam he’s not dad, he’s not Dean, “you’re Sam and Sam is awesome.” She loved the quote, hit home for her. Jared gives a shout out to Richard Speight Jr. for directing that ep. Fan asks if there are quotes that have hit home for him. Jared mentions quotes about who you are similar to that one. Mentions “Sam Fucking Winchester” and Jensen pretends to look shocked that he said fuck so Jared rubs his arm to console him lol. Jared says he has received a lot of support from friends and family, has heard a lot of things that make him feel better. All about being who you are, basically.

Jared talks about how badass Gen is to talk about Planned Parenthood and the Human Rights Campaign in front of the Texas Congress.
After a fan asks about it, Jared tells the story about how Tom Welling tried to get into his house where he was storing his stuff years ago but Tom forgot the code. “There’s Superman in handcuffs.”
Fan asks a question about how Jared deals with depression and anxiety at work. Work is an escape for Jared. It’s the quiet moments when his mind will start going, so that’s why work is an escape. When he’s around friends and being challenged, knowing he’s part of this family and part of something that has helped bring others support, helps bring him support, it helps him deal with it.
He said he gets a high from being able to create. He and Jensen were talking about 12×22. Says the scene with Jensen where they are trying to break through the wall and sit down and talk, they made that special and he’s proud. J2 are really proud of that emotional scene in that ep.
Keep moving your feet. Do something small like smiling will help you. Change everything about what’s going on to make you happy.
Jared: Crazy may be out there but I’ve only had wonderful experiences with fans.
Jared loves hearing about the connections that Supernatural has made for people. Jensen loves that it’s unapologetically inclusive.

The boys start talking about wrestling. Jensen would tag team with the Rock so he could be in awe like “Wow..” he wants to meet him and shake his hand and collapse (tap out lol).
Jared would fight/wrestle naked because nobody wants to fight the naked guy 😛

J2 haven’t pranked each other in awhile. Jensen teases about a years long prank that Jared doesn’t know about, Jared cracks Jensen up when he says he is Jim Carrey in The Truman Show (context for those who haven’t seen the movie: x). Jared does mention spraying his cologne in the car to annoy Jensen, though haha. Jensen was pretending to choke.
The boys are teasing each other about their antics while driving in to the convention this morning and being adorable.
If they could listen to any CD from any band over and over without getting sick of it, who would it be? Jared: Pearl Jam’s “Ten.”
Jensen asks if he can pick a greatest hits album, and they say he can. "Well that changes everything." He says that for him it'd be Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, The Eagles… And Jared said The Beatles. Jensen agreed, but said they didn't make it onto this list for him though. Jared said he'll add them to his answer because "How can you listen to a Beatles song and be sad?" Jensen said that he was listening to a lot of Elton John right now because his daughter, JJ, was really into him at the moment. He said he's glad it's Elton John, cause there are many worse things… Jared adds that Tom and Shep love the "Fruit Salad, Yummy, Yummy!" song. And they listen to it in the car and when it's over it's, "Again Daddy, again!" to which Jared whispered, "I'm gonna crash this car…!" Jared says he thinks the song is by ?, but the crowd shouts out that it's by The Wiggles. Jensen gives a nonplussed face: "You mean someone COVERED that song?!" A Creation Entertainment lady came out and started to wave at them. Jensen looks down at her and says "Sorry guys, we're being told to 'get the hell off stage'." Jared blows kisses and Jensen waves until they disappear back stage.

at the j2 panel, jensen seemed like he was in a good mood, but that had also been a couple hours passed already. so we check in the handler, and she’s like, nah you’re fine they’ve been happy and playful all day go ask. so then it was us! and we showed them what we brought and did our quick spiel that i bought the underwear for mango for his birthday and they can totally say no; we just thought it was funny. so jensen and misha are, like, inspecting the underwear and jensen does really seem to like those underbears. he was like checking the size and holding them up against himself to see how they’d fit. mango mentions to jensen that i bought one of the last pairs because when i reloaded the website after paying, they said SOLD OUT. and then jensen leans over to misha and laughs that he should’ve bought stock in ethika.
so at this point we’ve taken up wayyyy more time than we’re supposed to and get waved to move to the side out of the frame (we already mentioned we didn’t want to be in the photo once they said yes), and jensen and misha pose, and then given us back the underwear and i got a quick hug from jensen.

J2 were running late to the panel because they were still eating lunch lol.
Boys jump onstage as Louden Swain introduces them.
Jensen re: them all doing the jump at the beginning of the panel every con: How many more times are we gonna do that until somebody hurts themselves?
Richard, Rob, and J2 start joking around about how poor Rob and Louden had to said hold a “Coachella” concert basically because J2 were late and they kept playing songs waiting for them.
Everyone is cracking up. Jared: Let’s here it for the band!
Jared: My kids love Ice Age. Jensen: No, you love Ice Age.
Jensen to Jared, referring to them both wearing black shirts: I see you got the memo. Jared: Wear black and grow a beard.
Jensen says black is good because you can’t see the sweat. Jared: Called Jensen last night before they headed out of Austin. They were trying not to pack heavy. “I brought a black shirt.” Jensen was like Yep, me too, lol. “Alright. Twinsies.” Jared joked about how fans in the photo ops were like, “Wow, y’all coordinate.”
Jared likes Phoenix, used to drive through there a lot when he was shooting Gilmore Girls and would travel between Los Angeles and San Antonio. Jensen starts grilling him about why he was driving back and forth, is confused because he said Jared wasn’t living in San Antonio when filming GG. Jared said that when he was on GG he had Misha’s schedules, where he would shoot like one day a month. For the week of shooting, maybe two weeks, he would stay in L.A. and then drive back to San Antonio.
Jensen asks when Jared was “playing the original Dean” (Jared fangirls) why didn’t he fly back and forth? Jared: Driving was cheaper than flying, and he had a dog. He didn’t want to leave his dog behind. *Pretends to cry* thanks for reminding me.
When Jared is counting something, a fan teases him that he doesn’t know how to count. Jared, pretending like he’s gonna fight them, starts climbing all over Jensen telling him to “hold me back, hold me back!”

Jared breaks a mic and gets a new one, then watches over Jensen’s shoulder as Jensen fixes it and gives it back to Jared.
Jared pats his shoulder in thanks.
Jared says counting doesn’t matter because he’s “Sam Fucking Winchester.” Jensen: He’s got a point there.
Fan asks about the weirdest thing their wives or children have done? Jared: Married us *rimshot* Jared talks about potty training and how he now has a lot of poop in his daily conversations. Jensen: That’s not about his kids lol. Jared is most grateful that “they married us.”
Jensen talks about how “our wives deal with being married to us largely in part because they have each other.” Gen and Danneel have built an amazing support system with each other. That’s pretty abnormal and weird for people who do what they do, that work together “as long as we have and not only get along the way we do, but that our spouses have each other in a similar way that we have each other in a support system.” Jensen jokes that Jared is like a bra (support) so Jared grabs Jensen’s chest lol. Jensen quips Jared’s also like a bra “in that he’s constantly wired.”
Fan asks how does it feel knowing they have saved lives? Jared acknowledges that, but says that they didn’t save anybody. “Y’all saved yourselves” and knowing you have this family helped. “We didn’t save you, you saved you.” He talks about how they are not with them in person to stop them from making a decision “you might not have a chance to regret.” That is you and your strength alone. “We love you” the family loves you, “but that’s you. He says the movements like YANA and AKF is letting us all know that we are not alone and finding that message, family, or support system to help along the way.
Fan asks about acting advice. Jensen talks about figuring out what you want to get out of it, what inspires you, realize there’s a lot of different avenues to act. There’s no magic key, no corporate ladder to climb to get there or degrees and education they have to have. It is something that you have to fight for and that you have to be prepared when opportunity does come knocking.
Jared says “amen” and adds that he finds himself really excited when he’s fulfilled by acting rather than by the money or critique or the articles about the episodes, etc. It’s when they are filming a scene and he can look at Jensen and say they know that scene they just did was something to be proud of. He says to seek to express and find happiness through that expression.
Fan asks what they would sell their soul for. Jensen: Nothing. Jared: That is not true and you know it. Jensen: Well not when you don’t have one to sell. Jared: I really want to know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop (a bit later a fan says that it’s 853. Jared: is that true? What if you have a really coarse tongue like a dog? Jensen laughs and starts imitating. Boys start laughing onstage; dirty minds lol).
Jared, back to the soul question, says he calls bullshit on Jensen’s answer because he knows they both agree that when you are a parent you have a genuine fear about the safety of your kids and you would literally do anything. Jared says he’s gonna put words into Jensen’s mouth, but feels he knows him well enough to do this, and says that Jensen wouldn’t sell his soul for money or fame or Oscars, etc. If something were to ever happen to one of their family members, he thinks there isn’t a line too far they would cross. Jensen jokes: Nah, I don’t think I’d sell it.
Fan wonders if they have ever received blowback from conservative Christian groups because of the show. Jared brings up how Houses of the Holy was the first mention of angels and J2 read the script and were very clear they are there to tell the story not take sides on the show. Jared doesn’t know if Sam is Christian, Atheist, Muslim, Buddhist, etc, or where he stands politically and characters are different from the actors. He’s not trying to bend or proselytize towards any side or any religion, just trying to tell a story about “this guy Sam Winchester” and his struggles. To honor Sam and Sam beliefs. It’s not about supporting or denying the beliefs, just telling the story. Jared says he’s never seen any backlash personally, because they are telling a story about sacrifice, struggles, family, etc. Jared mentioned that he could have vigorous conversations with a Christian about the similarities of their beliefs and some themes of the show, such as “doing unto others;” he loves that the show can inspire debate or true thought. Says Supernatural is a show about what can we do as flawed human beings to build a better place.
Jensen agrees that they didn’t want to be a mouth piece for some writer’s ideology. Says the Supernatural world doesn’t really exist. Says, sure there is supernatural out in the world but the amount is probably false. Jared acts shocked by this lol, drops his mouth (Jensen tried to push his mic into his mouth for a second). Jensen says they are not trying to make a religious statement. Talks about how his grandmother, who passed away a few years ago, was a hugely devout Christian and in the beginning she had her concerns of the show. Finally she said, you know what “I know that this is a story and this isn’t real.” This isn’t something that’s trying to make a statement, it’s entertainment. Supported Jensen and watched until she passed. Jensen also says that his in-laws are Catholics and that their priest is a gigantic Supernatural fan. His mother-in-law asked him if he could give her a piece of memorabilia from the show to give to the priest and they filmed his reaction. Jared: Is that why you cut a piece of my hair that one time and ran away?

 
When the next fan is trying to ask a question, J2 start bobbing around. Jensen is trying to block Jared and they both keep moving around.
Fan asks if having kids changes how long they think the show will go. It does. Jensen says “Now it’s a collection. We’re collecting children, Jared.” Jared says he doesn’t want to be John Winchester. They are not absentee father’s as much as humanly possible, but he and Jensen agree that the kids absolutely changes everything.
Talking about the end of spn is as uncomfortable and difficult for them as it is for the fans.
Jared whispers a joke to Jensen and they laugh, Jensen tells him to tell another and Jared says, “No! I’m not gonna tell that joke!”
Jared picked Jensen up to go to the airport yesterday. He joked with Jensen in the car that he just bought the winning Powerball ticket. Jensen told him: You’re gonna have to buy me out of my contract. Then he asked Jared if that means that Jared wouldn’t show up to work in July. Jared: Of course I am. Point being, even if he won that money, he would still film Supernatural.
Fan wants the show to end when Jared’s hair reaches his ankles. Jared bends his leg up to touch his hair to his ankle lol. Jensen: Thanks, you just got us canceled! Another fan wants them to raise kids on the show to be hunters.
Jared said that every kid has changed the topic but that “he and I still have a commitment to these characters and the story.” Jared says he doesn’t know if they’ll go past 300 and tries to gauge the fans’ reactions.
Jared loved the finale because he knows anything is possible on SPN. Parts of it made him sad but it’s really cool story-telling. Says you have to do cool, bizarre, stuff to keep everyone interested. He was happy with the performances, but Jared was sick during the finale and recently watched 12×23. He thinks he was boring in that ep because he was distracted from being sick. Said it was fun having “Jimbo” (Jim Beaver) back.
Jensen said the reveal of Jim was good, called it “Classic Bob Singer direction.” Jensen thought the season could have ended after 22 and that 23 could have been the opener for the next season. He asked: Are we the only one hour drama that does 23 episodes? Jared: Is Arrow still on? Jensen: It is but nobody watches it lol. Jared: We’re teasing Stephen not Arrow. Jensen: Who’s Stephen? Jared: The camera operator: Jensen: Oh, you mean the Ninja Warrior dude.
Jensen is anxious to see how they’re gonna “get out the pickle they’re in.” Says the writers are working on that right now. Soon as they know “we will not tell you” lol. A fan yells out that Jared will and Jared shakes his head while Jensen laughs and says: yes, he probably will.
Fan asks which season is their favorite. A fan calls out “season two, bitches!” The boys are cracking up over the way she responded with “bitches” and start teasing her about it.
Jensen likes s4 and s9. Jared: I was gonna say, season 4, bitches.
A girl asks about their favorite part during the show over the years. They ask her, says something about her birth. Jensen asks how old she is and when she responds that she’s 13 Jensen falls to the ground. Jared: You killed him! Everything he’s been through and you killed Dean Winchester!
Jared can’t pick just one thing. Not any single moment that sticks out more than others. Comic Con is pretty cool…he mentions how he, Jensen and Misha were skipping rocks on the water, sitting by the lake when filming the finale. The crew built the home that served as the Kelly Kline and Castiel home. That house was built within two weeks. Jared says there are a few times where you allow yourself to toot your own horn and recognize they are part of something really cool. They were night shooting until like 5am, but at 4pm the three of them were looking at the view and skipping rocks. They have those little moments where they can reflect.
Jensen says that those moments happen periodically throughout the year. Like during the s5 finale, they were waiting for dark to keep shooting, so J2 climbed up on their trailers with a couple of lawn chairs, borrowed the cooler, and just set it there and may or may not have had a couple beers. Jensen says “some of our favorite things to do” is when they can take the time to have those moments. They know this show won’t last forever, they like to take the time to smell the roses.
Jared remembered two more of those moments, like when Phil brought them to the theater during the filming of the 200th ep and they watched the actresses perform “Carry On Wayward Son” as well as the 200th party at the Fairmont. There were four screens playing montages of Supernatural at the same time and it was one of those moments for them. Jensen: Hard to pick just one moment.
Jensen says that certain songs get him pumped up, like Rob Zombie’s “Dragula.” Fan says they have never heard that song and Jared’s eyes go wide lol. Fan calls out for Jensen to sing it; Jensen: Have you heard it?! It’s not something you sing. Jared says Metallica songs, like “One,” “Master of Puppets,” and “Atlas, Rise!” get him pumped up.
Last question: A young fan asks that if they were stuck on an island, who would they save? Misha or Mark Sheppard? Jared says that if they never got off the island he would save Mark, because he would never be bored and would be entertained, and because he feels smart around Mark. Jared says that if they did get off the island because, though he would never say it to his face, Misha is also intelligent and does such good things.
Jensen: Mark. I would keep Mark and get rid of Misha. You know why? Because Mark would keep his clothes on.
At some point after the question, Jared held Jensen close and whispered something in his ear making Jensen laugh.
