They're happy to be here because it took no travel time, they have a very early call tomorrow so it will be nice not to have a long flight and time zone changes to deal with.
Jensen even has no coffee.
Jensen shows off that he doesn’t have coffee. Seattle isn’t far from Vancouver so they’re not as tired this morning.
J2 snuck in the side door at PaleyFest to watch the ScoobyNatural episode with the fans 🙂
Jared is giggling as Jensen tells the story of how they wouldn’t let Jared drive the Impala. Jensen teasing Jared about his driving lol.
Jensen says music is something he always enjoys but doesn’t know if he wants to pursue it after.
Neither J2 know what the finish line for the show is.
Jared talks about how rewarding it is to work on a show with a great core group and guest actors.
Jared wants to crossover with The Simpsons. Jensen says Paw Patrol. And destroy them all.
Jensen also says he would like to see a crossover AU with TWD/Negan. “What happened to Dad?”
Jensen on Jared: I do tend to know when something is going on with him, and he does the same for me
Jensen tells a story about the time he thought he could ride a downhill mountain bike for a media shoot and ran into a giant boulder.
Sam and Dean’s fight in front of the car in ep 13×12 wasn’t choreographed! Jensen: They said wrestle and we did. I caught an elbow at one point 😛
Jared talks about when Supernatural is on while he’s at the gym: “So I’m on the treadmill and trying to pretend I’m not watching myself on TV…”
Jensen: I, on the other hand, am like, “Hey, this needs to be fixed… Oh, hey, hello, I’m Jensen…”

J2 jump onstage!
Jared: Hi Seattle! Jensen, with a Spanish accent: Hola Seattle.
All of Jared’s children were born in Seattle.
Jensen: Who’s excited for the episode this week? Jared raises his hand lol.
J2 mention again how they watched ScoobyNatural with the fans at PaleyFest. Jared was laughing during the episode; the boys hadn’t seen it yet. Jensen said it was an awesome experience to watch the ep with a room full of fans.
Jared: Without further ado…or a don’t *looks towards Stephen*
JDM was not aware of the Lucille reference on the show. It was done nonchalantly. Jensen wasn’t even sure he saw it. They thought his reaction would be cool.
Fan: Besides each other, who is the closest to you on set? Jared: I’m real close to Ruby… Jensen: Well, Sister Jo.
Jensen: There’s certainly a family that exists with this cast and crew. It’s great we get to reconnect with each other here, too.
Clif walked onstage. Jensen: Bizarro Santa Claus? You’re here a bit early. Jared: Security!!
Boys are asked about pranking. Jensen: It’s not pranking. It’s just a way of life. We are full of shenanigans. They talk about pranking Misha while directing an episode for the first time.
Jared called Misha “Mish” <3
They also talked about pranking Richard. Something about changing lines to “something inappropriate” lol.
Jared: The great thing about Supernatural is we don’t get all emotional when a character dies because they might come back. J2 are more like, see you later in the show.
However, Jared did take Bobby’s death pretty hard. He says that “Death’s Door” was a proper sendoff for Bobby. He was also sad when he died for the first time on the show because he loves working on SPN and then was happy when he found out he came back in the next episode lol.
Fan: If Gen and Danneel were here, what bad habits would they say you have? Jensen: None. Jared: How much time do you have?
When Jensen is getting ready for bed, he tends to do things mechanically and loudly. Hitting the faucet on, spinning and slamming the toothpaste, and Danneel is like what are you doing??? You’re so loud! Jensen: “Apparently I go all Tom Cruise when I’m brushing my teeth…”
Jared: At home, I leave the door open. When traveling, if he goes to the gym and sweats, he showers with his clothes on to clean them and then leaves them all over the bathroom to dry, and Gen gets so mad lmao. Jared also keeps the A/C on super cold, but Gen is always freezing. Jensen says the thermostat is a constant battle at his house.
Jensen’s pet peeve of Jared’s: When Jared comes into his trailer to chat or hang out, he’ll walk up to the counter and put his gum on Jensen’s counter.
Jared says that taking the gum out of his mouth is like taking off your shoes before entering haha. Then Jared puts it back in when he leaves. Jared says it tastes better after oxygenating. Audience: No! 😛
Boys are cracking up.
J2 enjoy Bullet Bourbon whiskey.
Jared’s most embarrassing moment on set was ripping his pants, but Jensen said they don’t get embarrassed often anymore. Jensen: Jared ripped his pants and he laughed louder than all of us at himself. Jensen said that he did get embarrassed during ep 8×11 when he slipped and fell after giving his Braveheart speech (and then it was also on the gag reel lol).
Jared does say that sex scenes around the crew that are like family and that they’ve known for over a decade is kind of weird, though. Jared talks about how people on set want to avoid looking at him when he takes his clothes off, then Jensen says, “but there are some people that are like” and stars acting like he’s hiding behind something to look.
Fan: How was it with Shoshannah? Jared: Shoshannah is awesome! J2 give her praise. Jared says that he knew a little bit of signing. Jared: “All the love, from us to her.”
Fan asks about the season 3 writer’s strike. In response to the strike, as soon as season 3 ended, Jensen shaved his head just because he could.
Did they know how the strike would affect the show? They figured the studios had to bring the show back ‘cause everything got renewed and they didn’t have anything else!
Fan: what’s your favorite thing that you’ve found online of yourselves? Jared: my L’Oréal meme. I was mesmerized.
Jared’s other favorite thing is the nine styles of Sam and Dean’s hairstyles over the seasons lol.
Jensen’s favorite thing is being able to use “gifs in the text message thing” to send friends gifs of himself.
Fan: When will Adam get out?! J2: When we let him! But bringing Adam out opens a big can of worms, he was dead when they first met him.
Balancing work and time with the kids? Jared says he struggles with not being able to take the kids to school and stuff like that. Has learned since time is so precious with the kids, it’s play time with them. It’s the quality over the quantity with them. J2 say Gen and Danneel do the lion’s share of raising the kids.
Jared referred to his and Jensen’s kids as “our six children” <3
Regarding the end of the show, they say they don’t know where the finish line is. Jensen: What if it lasts another seven? What we’ve built here with this fandom is not something that dissolves when the show stops.
Jensen: What he and I know is what we’ve built here with this show.
Jared apparently was getting choked up at the emotional question
Jared: If and when the show does end, the connections and relationships will carry on, and hopefully we’ll still see you guys a few times a year.
Fan: My name is Jenille (pronounced Genneel). Jensen: Do you have a sister named Jenared? XD
Fan: How would you see a crossover of SPN and Buffy? Jensen: Well, how would you see it? Fan: Well, I’m not a writer. J2, explosively: Well neither are we! lol
If Dean is with Buffy, what’s Sam doing? Jensen: Walking Scooby! *rim shot* Jared: I’m okay with that.
J2 have spliced DVR’s in their trailers, so if they record something, it shows up on the others DVR.
Jared exposes Jensen for watching Below Deck lol. Jensen says Danneel watches it and other shows like that and now Jensen is stupidly interested in them.
Jensen loves anything with Tom Hardy in it.
Jared would watch Tosh.O, John Oliver, Futurama, Altered Carbon.
Game of Thrones, Peaky Blinders, Ozarks, and Taboo are also mentioned. Jensen says Jared watches The Bachelorette.
Jensen: Jared watches The Bachelorette for all the pretty dudes. Jared: That’s why I took this job next to you. Only one pretty dude in my life. Jensen: Yeah, when you look in the mirror!
J2 calling each other pretty tho.
If they went back to a prior project what would you bring back? Jared would want to redo House of Wax. Jensen would go back to work on Dark Angel, because he’s learned how to create a healthy, fun work environment, alluding to issues that existed on the Dark Angel set.
Jared said something to Jensen off the microphone and Jensen laughed so hard.
Last question: Why don’t Sam and Dean wait until the body is burnt until leaving? Jensen: We go to the diner, have a burger and piece of pie, go back and finish the job. But we can’t show all that ‘cause it’s a 42 minute show 😛
Jared is auctioning off his LOVE hoodie for IMAlive <3
Jensen helped Jared take off the hoodie. Jared was rubbing his hoodie on Jensen’s face lol!
Rob is the auctioneer. Rich points out that Matt starts at $2,500 lol. Jensen puts on the hoodie to share the musk 😛 Jared: “And it smells like Jensen!” Jared helps Jensen take off the hoodie after Jensen models in it.
The hoodie went for $8,000!!! The girl who bought it came up and Jared gave her his beanie, too.
Either before or after the auction there was a J2 fist bump 🙂
Before leaving Jensen was holding his and Jared’s mic and said to the guys onstage: “Gentlemen, thank you very much. Mr. Padalecki, let’s get out of here.” 🙂
