Jared says he isn’t feeling so hot. Jensen: I think you look amazing.
Jared on episode 22: We saw it in the wild! Jensen: You can just say everyday life lol.
Jared: Believe in your fucking self – I love that shirt!
Jared can’t stop looking at the monitor with his face on it lol. Jensen: Ignore it! You make a living with a camera pointed at your face! Jared: I can’t ignore it, I’m totally famous right now! 😛 Jensen put Jared’s jacket over it.
Jensen: I think Dean always envisioned a warm and loving/caring and nurturing mother, so it was jarring to him seeing Mary in a different light when she came back. Sam was more accepting of Mary being a hunter.
Jensen about Jared: You’ll have to excuse my friend.
Fan: You’re beautiful. Jared: We are not. Jensen: Speak for yourself.
Jared just took a fan and put it on his lower abs.
If J2 were on Magic Mike, this fan wants them both to die- “I mean dance!” J2 crack up at her slip and Jared comes off stage to high five the fan.
Jared: If there was a Magic Mike Changing Channels, I would get my dance on!
Fan asks J2 to tell each other what they find beautiful about one another. Jared: He has a wonderful tuft of hair and I can see it because I’m 6′4 and he’s a mere 6′1 lol.
Jared: Jensen will as a friend, very uniquely, be able to tell Jared “dude, you’re better than this.” Basically, he likes that Jensen can tell him to up his game. Jensen holds Jared to a higher standard. He loves Jensen’s ability to remain who he is, that he can be real with him and call him out on his shit. Jared has very few friends that can do that.
Jared: You know him as Jensen Ackles and Dean Winchester, I know him as Uncle Ackles, like my kids call him.
Jensen: I wanted to say his chest but that sounds inadequate now lol.
Jensen’s serious answer about what is beautiful about Jared: Says he has many qualities, but one is Jared’s “ability to liven and lighten and make a room better just by walking into it.”
J2 keep bumping each other on the thigh for support.
Jared: It’s so pretty – touches Jensen’s face.
Fan: Which animals would you be? Jensen: I was told recently a wolf. Jensen says that Jared would be a bull.
Jared and Gen set a trap to stop things eating their chickens and they caught a possum! Called him Mr. Possum. When Shep catches lizards they are always called Lizzie.
Jared thinks he’d be an opossum. Jensen: Opossums play dead when in fear… That doesn’t apply and they also have a long tail, I don’t think so… Jared: Phhhh…
Jensen keeps roaring and Jared just did it, too
Fan: I think you would be a bear, Jensen. Jensen: *growls like a bear* Jared: *growls like a tiger*
Jensen: I don’t think you’re rat-like. Jared: My tail is. Second wave of laughter over what might have a double meaning here lol.
Jensen: How about a giraffe? Jared: I’m going with moose, man!
Fan chose lion for Jared to be. Jared: I love it. I’ll have news for you in a couple of days.
Jensen: I had a fundamental issue with the fact that Dean left Sam when he died in 13×21. But it was too late to change the script. He thought it was doing a disservice to the character. He wasn’t quiet about it.
Jared: I knew that Dean was gonna go back for his brother.
Jared: I have an interesting perspective as the dead brother. I never doubted that Dean would go back, and he thought it was heartbreaking seeing Dean have no choice but to leave Sam behind even though he didn’t want to.
Jared thinks Jensen did an awesome job showing Dean’s emotional state. Jared says it’s easier to play the bravado of wanting to go in guns blazing and Jensen was amazing in bringing Dean’s heartbreak in not being able to go back for Sam, in playing “I don’t wanna be anywhere but dead with my brother in that cave.”
Silent conversations between J2.
Jared: On the way in today we watched the gag reel, it was really good! Jared wants to show it but Jensen says no lol.
Habits they’ve adopted from each other? Jensen about him and Jared: “We have adopted a short-hand language with each other.” They can read each other so well. In gag reels, you see it a lot. Derail with each other when it’s fun/prank time.
Jensen: When he derails and starts pranking, I derail with him. And when I derail, he, instead of pulling me back on the rails, he just pushes me further and jumps off with me and we go off the tracks together! Jared: Wheee!
They can read each other so well they don’t have to discuss things like improvising a scene.
Jared: I Dean it up once in a while (when there’s a crowd of people and he’s trying to get through) and does a Dean face lol. Says Dean’s posture “toughens himself up” lol.
Misha arrives for the brief J2M panel. He livestreams on the monitor: Sorry, I didn’t think you could see me!

Jensen: We always see you, Misha, you livestream your entire life.
Misha: Jared and Jensen were plucked off of playgrounds and told, you’re a star! Jensen: No, that’s not true at all.
Jensen: Everything in life is a gamble but if you’re passionate about it, it’s worth it. Says there was a lot of rejection early in their careers as actors, but their passion for it made them push through.
Jared: Do something that brings you joy every day. Says this industry can be very judgmental. Don’t listen to them, but make sure you do what makes you happy. “I’ve been in the business 18 years and sometimes I feel judged or less than. But just do what makes you happy and kick ass, and to hell with everybody else.”
Misha read a book called Freakonomics that said you have the same amount of likelihood as being a successful drug dealer as you do being a successful actor.
The hug from the last ep was changed a bit by J2. It was written as too light/happy/reunion-y, but J2 felt it needed to be more heavy because of what happened and the Lucifer problem. They felt the reunion would be unsatisfactory and fleeting because they still had work to do. “The satisfaction of it being over wasn’t there.” The hug was written for Jared and Jensen to add their interpretations, the writers usually don’t write those moments and trust them to find those moments.
Jensen says Dean had mixed feelings about Sam’s return from the dead because his happiness was undercut by the fact that it was Lucifer who had brought Sam back. They never get the chance to just be happy in these moments because there’s always something ominous going on.
Jensen: We aim to satisfy!
Fan: How does it feel to play another character other than Dean? Jensen: I haven’t really had the chance to play this character just yet, but I will. Says “ohhh it’s good!”

Jensen is talking about Days of Our Lives
“If you can’t see the camera, the camera can’t see you. Guest actors sometimes need to be told that.” Jensen learned early on because he worked with people who weren’t afraid to tell him what to do and how to do it.
Jensen: There’s a lot you can learn, you just have to be willing.
Fan: How do you prepare yourself for flying? Jensen says air is a lot like water and turbulence is like waves. Take off and landings are tricky. Those are when you want the really good pilots. You generally find that out in the end. He flies on average two times a week and has had some very bad landings.
Giving advice to the fan who’s scared of flying: You’re safer being on an airplane than you are being your car.
Jensen on auditioning for Sam before Dean, does a Sam impression: “Hey Dean, you’re so much cooler than me” lol. “They loved it but they said my hair wasn’t long enough.”
Fan: How can Dean be so good at fighting but eat all that trash food? Jensen: Genetics.
Jensen enjoyed the gunfight the most about filming for “A Most Holy Man.” He loved the kind of old-timey feel of the episode.
Dean’s “I’ll murder them all” was not scripted. Script just had Sam saying “What if somebody stole the Impala?” and Dean going, “Yeah, I get your point, okay.” But in filming Jensen thought, “This is not how Dean would react” and he improvised the rest.
Jensen: “I’ve certainly had my fair share of trials, I’ve lost a few people in my life, close friends, a roommate in my early 20′s. He died in a car accident and I was driving behind him.”
Jensen walked into his roommate’s room after the accident and he needed some kind of resolve which he found in his roommate’s father when he came to collect his things. Roommate’s dad turned tragedy into something positive for someone else. And he’s always remembered that.
Jensen says the will to thrive, the will to survive, comes in many forms. You just have to be available to accept it.
To quote Sylvester Stallone, Jensen says Dean is the best imaginary friend he’s ever had. He’s part of Jensen.
“There’s no concept of Dean anymore. He is a living, breathing thing. Dean’s reactions depend on how I feel.”
Playing Dean has “truly been one of the greatest gifts of my life.”
Jared likes to read the first draft of the script. Jensen: Why would I read something in the writer’s draft, get excited about it and then they have it gone in the final draft?
Jensen: “Jared likes to know all the different variations of a script. He’s a nerd and that’s why we love him.” Says while he will read scenes two or three times before moving on Jared reads a script like a book.
Jensen chooses to not engage in speculation about storylines and story arcs so he does often get surprised about plot twists. It messes him up chronologically in his head if he knows too much about what is going to happen. Jared REALLY wants to know what will happen.
Scripts continue to change even after filming. Sometimes he’s surprised (when seeing the final episode on TV) to find that a line disappeared or got changed.
Jensen on a time period he’d like to travel to costume wise: “At the end of this season when I take on a new character… that character has a look and that was crafted by our amazing costume designer.” The new character has a 1920′s type look. He collaborated with the costume designer.
“I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wanted to be a lot of different things and I’m lucky I’ve found a profession that allows me to do that.”
“If you’d have told me a year ago that Dean would bond and go off with Ketch I would have said that’s not possible… but we found it. And I think that’s true of human nature; you don’t know what you’re capable of until you do it.”
What pet would the Winchesters have? Jensen: I mean, we have one. Fan: He helps you though. Jensen: That’s because we took the shock collar off him.
Jensen says working with animals is very difficult but it would be awesome to have a tiger in the backseat of the car. However, the brothers need supernatural help more than animal help.
Jensen on Dean if someone stole the Impala: “There would be torture… people would cry for their mommies!”
Some moments Jensen understands Dean better than the writers, but he doesn’t want to take the writers’ job and write his own character. But occasionally he adds just a little bit extra based on the knowledge he has of Dean.
Fan: Do you have a funny story about your children? Jensen: Yeah, how long do you have?
Arrow is already singing her ABC’s and she’s a year and a half. Meanwhile, Zep can’t even say Dada. “Arrow is speaking two languages now to the credit of who we have helping Danneel when I’m not around.” Arrow is learning to speak Spanish, too.
Arrow doesn’t like to walk but Zep runs everywhere. They’re so different and it’s fascinating to watch.
Jensen: You know him, you love him, it’s Matt Cohen! Just kidding, it’s Misha lol. Jensen takes off as Misha’s solo panel starts.

Jared arrives and Jensen says there was nothing else to do so they decided to come with Jared on stage.
Jared and Jensen join Rich and Rob who came onstage after Misha’s panel.
Jensen apologised for the wardrobe change because it's warm up here and he sweat through the last one. He shows the pic of a gear shifter on the back.
Rob is spinning the wheel – drink! Jared spun the wheel, it landed on sing and then he moved it to dance. He keeps spinning it and it keeps landing on sing.
Jensen is singing “I Wanna Rock N Roll All Night”
Jensen just said “fucking” and now he’s blowing bubbles.
Questioner mumbles a lot without asking any questions.
Jared is distracted by Jensen blowing bubbles and Jensen says, “Answer the question, Jared.” He’s blowing bubbles at Jared lol.
Jared wanted Sam to be dead longer. He wanted him to come back to life the episode later, but alas he’s not a writer. Jared can’t finish his answer ‘cause Jensen keeps blowing bubbles at him.
Jensen on leaving Sam in the cave: “I was gonna come back and collect you.”
Jared says he is very protective of Sam's character and how different he is with Dean and Cas and Gabriel.
Jensen hands Jared a glass of water and tells him to drink it, Jared sips it and says it's water, and puts it down, so Jensen drinks it all, and grabs a guitar from the side of the stage. Jared is singing his answer now as Jensen is playing the guitar.
When he finishes, Daniela comes to get him to sign some autographs.
Fan: Both of you have been dead a lot, how hard is it to play dead? I did four takes, I feel weird doing eyes open, but he was really insistent for me to do two takes with eyes closed and two open.
Jared scrolls through his phone, and shows a BTS photo from ep 13×21. Jared: And this is from episode 23 … Rich and Rob: NO. Shows a pic of him in a blonde wig. Rob hugs Jared from behind and says: Gosh you’re so pretty.
Fan: What's the most tedious part of acting and what's most exciting? Rich: The prep. Jared: I love preparation, I'd love to preapre for a scnee and never shoot it.
Jared: I don’t like the finality when they call cut. You feel sort of like there’s something left on the table to do or to work for. I love the challenge of figuring out a scene. I love the behind the scenes stuff and the prep.
Jared wishes he had longer to film scenes, more time to experiment.
Rich: That's an interesting answer that surprised me a little, but you seem so sure of your choices, I always get a sense from you and Jensen that you’re very confident in your decisions on the scene, that worked, we're done. I feel I'm forced to make a decision, and when they work you have to move on, but I could have done this ten ways, you can't play a lot.
Fan: Is there another cartoon they could crossover with? Jared: Simpsons or Family Guy. Rich: South Park, and by the way your costume is fantastic.
Fan: Sam's girlfriends are dead, should we be nervous about Velma? Jared says yes, you (Velma cosplayer) should be very afraid, I love your outfit, where are you from? Russia
Fan: gag reel, did you ever not approve anything. Jared: I never said no to anything on the gag reel and one of the better things I feel about the gag reel is that we do 182 days of filming, and it's a cool insight into filming and goofing around. There have been embarrassing things. like, I’m farting on Jensen, I should say no, but I’m going to say yes lol. It's a weird juxtaposition, Jensen has never said no to something on the gag reel, either. I will happily show you all my dirty laundry.
Fan: Please do an impression of Misha? Jared ends his panel with his Cas impression.

He may direct this upcoming season but this time, he wants to try and to do it in the middle of filming. If it won't work out this season, for sure NEXT season if there is one.
