Jason Manns fakes everyone out by telling the audience Jared’s panel is canceled, and then Jared pops up saying, “What are you talking about? I’m right here!”
Jared: “I feel good. I felt good yesterday!” Jared slept instead of going out to dinner last night like a “good traveler” lol.
Fan: Any stories you’d love to play? Jared: When I was a kid, I loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. My buddy Stephen Amell was in the movie. My kids watched it and were confused about recognizing him.
Jared loves Paw Patrol.
Jared: I was not the late one today! Sounds like he blames Jensen for being late this morning lol.
“My kids know I act on TV, and they know Uncle Jensen acts on TV.”
Fan: Cas, Benny, Crowley were Dean’s best friends…who is Sam’s best friend? Jared: Sully! Actually probably Dean, but Sam is an intellectual who finds solace and friendship in books and research.
Jared says that Sam is gun shy when he gets close to people, harder for him to make friends, but Jared thinks “Sam is okay” that way (not sad and lonely).
Sam is scared to get too close to people because he always loses them. Says he always felt like Dean is Sam’s best friend.
Jared: I feel like a scorpion without a tail.
“We (J2) did have a nice long conversation with Andrew Dabb last night.”
Jared says he doesn’t know if they even know where s14 is going.
“Sam is the type to sit back and figure out the smartest way to figure out a problem.”
“I’m blessed to live as a father in this day and age since I can talk to my kids FaceTiming while traveling.”
Jared: Ruby was an unfortunate chapter for Sam. Not me. Jared is happy about that but not Sam. But I think he’s scared he’s either gonna lose people or make a bad decision with them.
Fan asks about Jensen’s Instagram post with Jared where he said this is a bad idea. Jared pretended like he couldn’t remember lol. Jared says they were just being silly and it was nothing specific. Looks away smiling at the question and said they were just staying up too late.
Jared says he’s definitely the guy who scrolls through pictures and says “look at this one.” “Yeah, we get it you have kids” lol.
Fan: Are there any questions you want to be asked to get a chance to answer? Jared: Good question Jared says he gets questions he never thinks of and makes him think differently about the show and his character, but can’t think of a specific question at the moment.
Crossover question: Jared chooses Walking Dead because “we’d like to go in there and teach them how to kill zombies!”
Jared on Sam and Lucifer: Says that Sam is still afraid of Lucifer and (after Lucifer bringing him back) it’s weird because Sam is indebted to his least favorite person in the world. As an actor “it’s a very interesting dynamic I get to play. Anytime Sam deals with Lucifer it’s a fun journey to explore and we explore some more of it very soon!”
Fan “Will Sam have at least one win before the season ends?” Jared: “Yes! Sam gets to experience something that he’s longed for for a very long time.”
Jared’s trying to put his best poker face on to avoid spoilers lol.
Jared: “I haven’t chased lizards in a while…. and I’m really good at chasing lizards!” He says, “Listen, Tom, Shep, your dad was a world class lizard catcher!”
“Shep is a very funny kid, so at Easter, I filled an egg full of roly polys and he was thrilled!”
Jared enjoys just being a kid again.
Asked about tattoos: “I love the idea that I get to be a part of something that inspires passion.”
Jared says that he loves that people have spn related tattoos or tattoos relating to J2 and says the passion and dedication is something he’s all for.
Jared: Also I love tattoos. I don’t have any yet and it’s mainly because…. like Alex has a hundred tattoos and he has to go in early for makeup to take them off and I don’t want to have to go into makeup any earlier than I have to lol.
Jared prefers definite endings instead of open endings.
“Maybe it’s the OCD in me but I enjoy completion. Which is why I think Sam and Dean should die!”
Fan asks what Jared would be on set other than an actor? Says he wouldn’t be a stuntman. Jared’s stuntman was stunting for someone else in the finale and fractured his foot but they didn’t know until later. He just kept working for hours with a fractured foot.
Jared chooses casting director and says: I’m not the best actor but I can see when someone is talented. Ex: Sterling K. Brown. That being said, I couldn’t tell someone they aren’t good for the job.
Jared would be awful at telling someone they didn’t get the job and would hate that part of it because he doesn’t want to squash anybody’s dream.
Jared mentions the new Han Solo actor, Alden Ehrenreich, was on Supernatural (”Wendigo”) 🙂
Jared and Jensen have talked about getting a Supernatural related tattoo but it would be hard to get another job if they had that on their body. “I try to come as blank of a slate as possible.”
Basically, Jared loves tattoos. He doesn’t get one because of the job he has. In a different life he says he would probably have like 20 tattoos. He’ll probably get one when he can be “just Jared” for the rest of his life.
“Jensen and I say this all the time when we fly from Austin to Vancouver we say, thank god we’re going back to work to get some rest.”
Jared: it’s more restful doing 16 hour days in Vancouver than running around after little kids.
Jared is asked about hearing the same questions at conventions: I don’t think there are any questions that I’m bored with by any means.
“Perspectives change over the years. As somebody who’s passionate about what they do for a living, it makes me better at my job coming to these things. Very enlightening.”
A fan played a random song for maybe a few beats too many and it has the audience laughing. Jared: What is that!? Fan: It’s called Moose on the Loose! Jared: I’ll buy that! Put it as my ringtone. The fan puts the song to the mic again and laughter ensues.

Jensen: “What do you mean I was late? I was waiting for Jared!"
"Yeah, he needs me.”
Daniela just brought back Steve the unicorn. Jensen hit him on the head with his mic. “Ah Steve, you haven’t changed.”
Fan: What went wrong with Daphne? Jensen: FRED! Fred went wrong! … They should do another episode where Dean closes the deal. Or Daphne closes the deal.
“When I’m just playing Dean, my mind is very clear. When you’re a director, you need to be able to see when moments are there and be able to capture them.”
Richard and Jensen have talked about directing an episode of the show. Jensen finds it difficult to switch between the actor and director mind frame. When he’s playing Dean, he’s not overthinking/analyzing things, but as a director, you constantly need to think ahead.
“It took a few more takes to get into Dean when I was directing so I kinda warned Richard about that.”
A fan asking a question has an injured arm. Earlier in the day, Jason asked her if she was “actually injured or are you just cosplaying Jared from Jib6?” The same girl was about to ask Jensen a question and when Jensen asked her about her arm she said, “People think I’m cosplaying Jared” and Jensen laughed.
Most awkward moments on set for Jensen is when they’re doing a scene with lots of background performers like in a restaurant or on the street.
“What’s awkward or embarrassing to me is when we’re doing a scene and there are a lot of background performers, and for some reason, I always feel like they’re just standing by waiting for my cue, and the pressure is on!”
Jensen: Plenty of embarrassing moments on the gag reel.
Jensen on Dean talking to Amara in the s11 finale: “I played Dean like it was one last effort to express everything he could to get her to change her mind.”
Jensen spins the wheel, it lands on surprise. “Oh man.”
“You know most people get excited about surprises… not I!!”
Jensen just got fluffy unicorn slippers as a surprise gift!
Jensen is asking a unicorn slipper its name! “Let me get your friend out” (the other slipper) “I’m talking to shoes!”
Jensen introduces “the twins” Sandy and Brandy to Steve. And then curling in on himself mumbling, “I’m talking to shoes.”
Jensen just gave twin unicorn slippers to Steve and Daniela gave him another unicorn head on a stick lol! Will continue this convo with Misha later.
Jensen: “What’s the thing for many unicorns?” Fan:“It’s a zoo.” Jensen: “A zoo of unicorns? This fan seems very certain. She’s like ‘it’s zoo. It’s a zoo of unicorns. How do you not know that?’”
“To me, ice skating is just being able to put them on my feet and not fall over.”
Jensen: The time of day dictates what Dean is drinking. If it’s morning it’s coffee, afternoon it’s beer, evening it’s whiskey. Or if it’s been a rough day it’s whiskey all three of those times.
Jensen: I don’t think I’VE realized [Dean’s beverages of choice between coffee, beer, whiskey]. It really hasn’t been considered since s7 with Dean going down the rabbit hole a bit there.
The beer is rarely alcoholic. The whiskey is Coca-Cola with water. Rarely actual coffee in the coffee cups, usually just plain Coca-Cola or empty. The choice of beverages isn’t thought out before. Sometimes you can see it's not coffee, not only is there no steam, but there's effervescence.
Jensen is asked if he misses Dean during summer hiatus. He says it‘s nice to put it down, but also good to pick it back up.
Jensen: it’s nice to have the hiatus but also great to pick Dean up again. And we love each other but need a break sometimes
“We welcome the break between seasons, it’s nice to let the beard grow.”
“God knows what’s gonna happen to me when the show’s over!”
Jensen demonstrated old Dean walking and shooting in 2050…hunting ghosts for senior citizens.
Jensen on filming the reversed 180 in Baby: “The guest star next to me said you’ve done this before, right? And I said, “Now’s not the time!” Jensen recorded himself with his phone when doing it.
During that scene, the entire crew had to scatter and hide behind trees because the camera spins 360 degrees. The girl said "you've done this before, right", so I thought that wasn't the time to tell her…
Filming with the crane during the first episode of season 13 on the road was a real challenge.
Jensen: Shooting s13e01 was exhilarating. Driving the impala on the winding mountainous road with elevation changes, alongside an SUV with a crane and director and operator with the stunt drivers are coming within inches of his window at 30 mph, and keeping it at the same speed. That car is heavy so when you come to a downgrade, the car speeds up, so I was sweating bullets keeping the same speed with dips and turns. Meanwhile, Jared is like, What’s my line? Really? All you have to do is say your lines, I'm doing everything else!
Jensen just left and he took the unicorn slippers with him haha.

Misha: We’re doing a panel with Misha Jared and little Jared. This is already dirty.
They wish the mothers in the audience a Happy Mother’s Day 🙂
Jared: “First and foremost to all the mothers out there, thanks to all the mothers out there!”
Jared to Misha: Aren’t you junkless? On the show, on the show! Haven’t we discussed that?
If French Mistake Sam and Dean went to a convention: Jared says, “Sam would be very confused… he’d be very happy and he’d treat it as a riddle of some sort!”
Misha: “I would be taking a lot of selfies and tweeting… something I don’t ever do!”
Misha on a mock of cons: Jared would have a mirror in the photo ops room that you’d keep checking. Jared jokes: I do have that! That was based on me!
Con French Mistake world Dean would have sex with all the fans.
David Barry saw Jared and Jensen’s trailer in a vid on Instagram and was like, “Omg that’s your trailer!!! There’s a brick wall!”
Jared is casually & repeatedly resting his hand on Misha’s thigh.
When Misha’s manager saw the French Mistake he was like, “Wow Misha it’s so great getting to see you play yourself!”
Jared actually rewatches The French Mistake, he loves it.
Jared: “It brings me great joy to watch the French Mistake… lol the bit of you (Misha) pushing someone away!” That part was apparently unscripted.
Fan: “My name is Shaked.” Jared: “That is ShakAwesome!” Lol
Two fans with the same name. “Are you friends because of your name?” “No, we’re friends because of you.”
Fan asks about influencing. Misha: I’m having a hard time influencing Jared. We’re talking to somebody about that. Sometimes Jared influences me very quickly
Misha: I really want to influence Jared and I feel it. I’ve got some pills from my doctor Jared: (at a loss): I can’t…I can’t top that. //There’s a pause in the room and finally the most uproarious laughter from the crowd.
Misha says he can’t hear the word “influence” in non-convention life anymore without cracking up. Jared agrees.
Jared: “Are you trying to make me influence my microphone? … You’re right, I’m gripping it too low…” Everybody laughs.
Fan: “I would be so satisfied to see Sam kill Lucifer!” Jared: “No shit, right!?”
Jared: I hope Sam will be the one to kill Lucifer. I think he just wants to see Lucifer dead no matter what.
Jared: “I’m gonna say the only nice thing to Misha of my entire life.” Misha covers his ears: “I don’t want to spoil our relationship.”
Fan: What inspires you about each other’s charity work? Jared says that his charity work has been accidental and “totally on y’all” (crediting the fans) and inspired by Misha. Says that Misha makes charity a part of his life, is dedicated to is, goes above and beyond. Jared had everyone clap for Misha, then they hug 🙂
Misha tells Jared it was brave to come out with his mental health issues and how important it is and how much it’s helped and inspired others to seek out help. He applauds Jared for not being afraid to show his vulnerable side and helping to break down the stigma.
Misha: It’s been great teaming up – J2M teamed up on the support chatline, came up with the idea on a flight back from a con. And then the fans stepped up & did it.
Jared on charity work: “Y’all really did it, we’re just the faces on the poster.”
Would you play truth or dare with Jared, Misha? Misha: Absolutely not. Jared: That’s the smartest thing you’ve ever said.
Jared offering to play truth or dare: “Be careful… I have a very big imagination!”
Jared to the fan: Do YOU want to play truth or dare?“ Fan: "A voice in my head is telling me no.” Jared and Misha: “GOOD. ALWAYS LISTEN TO THAT VOICE.”
Jared recalled when Misha DID play truth or dare and he chose “dare” right off the bat “like a ROOKIE!” lol
Fan asks if Jared could crush a watermelon between his thighs. Jared is pretty confident he could. Misha: “That’s what I said, and it was a mistake because now people are going to bring watermelons to cons.”
Now they’re debating whose thighs are stronger, lol.
Jared talking about the Padalecki family going skiing with the Speight family.
Jared: “I currently have a rip in my ACL and my FCL and a bruise on my knee and I blame Speight!” Jared went skiing with Speight and his knee popped and flipped around!
Jared had a skiing accident recently, during Rich’s episode, felt his knee pop, foot pointed the wrong way, ski didn’t come off. Lay there in shock. People in ski lift shouting down “are you all right”, Jared just groaning.
Jared’s ski accident: He didn’t tell anybody because the actors are not allowed to ski! Just toughed his way through it. Torn ACL, bone bruises
Jared’s brother gave his knee an MRI and confirmed his injury. Apparently it’s in his clause that he’s not allowed to ski. Now the seasons over, “It feels so good to tell that story! I was just like hobbling around like ‘Hey, I’m fine.’” Better now but still sore.
Misha on Jared’s awful ski accident /blown knee story: “That’s the longest excuse I’ve ever heard for not being able to crush a watermelon.”
Jared’s now trying to remember the Ninja Turtle theme song.
Biggest life lesson they learned. Jared: “Don‘t eat yellow snow.“ Misha: “Learn how to use a toilet.“
Jared: Life is short but try to live like life is long sometimes.
Jared: I challenge you to spend a week or a month as if life is long because life is short. Try to plant seeds in a garden you’ll never see grow. Try to be who you want to be in 50 years and be sure that, when you look back, you’re proud of who you are and your relationships.
Jared says that living like life is short makes him anxious, so lately he’s been living like life is long and it’s helped.
Misha: “I have been learning from my kids, who have an amazing capacity to live in the moment.”
Misha’s telling the I Wish For This story. Tells the story about trying to rush his kids into their van and his daughter said: “look dandelion puffs.” They blew and made wishes and his daughter said, “I wish for this.”
Misha: “There can be a spectacular opportunity in any given moment if you pay attention to it.”
Fan: I like your shoes, Jared. Jared: I like your truth, too Fan: SHOES Jared: oh lol, I thought that was pretty deep
Fan compliments Jared’s shoes. Turns out Gen picked them out. “My wife has good taste in clothes.“
Fan: “Which role would you never play?” Misha “Debbie, in Debbie does Dallas.” Jared: “Dallas, in Debbie does Dallas.” Lol
The music suddenly comes on to end the panel. Jared fell off his chair when the music came on and Misha had to help him up 😛

Alex leaves, Jensen jokingly kicks his butt on the way out. They comment on the audience being so loud (clapping and shrieking).
Jensen and Misha talk about Alex and Misha asks if Alex is being crass yet, he's dirty, and how he brings the tone down. Jensen says on his first season, … but he doens't remember that far back. Jared was torturing him on his first episode. Jensen : He tries to be professional, and also naked, and Jared just sees an opportunity, a target, easy prey. He is a delightful addition and we hope he sticks around, he probably won't, because I thought the exact opposite about this one (Misha) and he's been with us 7 years, so hey.
Misha says Jensen offered Misha his spare shirt, which was new with tags, but he refused, then he spilt salad dressing on his, so thanks. Jensen says he had a shirt because he tries to wear something new every time there are pictures being taken, because that's the culture we live in. Jared arrives and asks "may I join?", he hands Jensen a pink balloon, which Jensen bursts. Daniela brings Jared more balloons, and circus music plays; he hands them to Jensen, and they whisper behind them. Jensen ties them down.
Jared says during the Misha Jared panel they were discussing watermelons, and Jared asks Jensen for one balloon, and he says he just tied them up, and Misha asks how good was the knot? Jensen says it was a professional knot and pulls the end to untie it instantly. Misha starts to mess with them and they mess about a bit. Jared asks "what did I miss?" Jensen asks what he has in his pocket, and Jared says notes he hasn't read yet, he hasn't had time.
Jensen : You read faster than I do – you read your script 40 times before acting it, I read mine once.
Q1: when the story finishes do you like to have the threads all tied up, or left wondering?
Misha – I like it like 3 billboards, left wondering.
Jensen: I do not, I like it to have an ending – you know when you get a song stuck in your head – finish it, then it won't be stuck. I like finality so I can move on.
Jared: What if we all end up dead?
Jensen: What are we talking about, Supernatural, I thought you were talking about life. If we're talking about Supernatural, dying is not a finale.
Q2: Which one of you is the best dancer?
(Music) Misha dances, says I am.
Jared does the floss dance to strip music, Jensen does an air guitar thing.
Q3: Misha you said Castiel doesn't have a bedroom, does he stand in the hallway, what else does he not have?
Misha: The bedrooms in the bunker have little peepholes. (toiletries?) No he does not.
Jensen: What does Cass do while the brothers sleep in their respective bedrooms, can you demonstrate?
Misha: Yes he stands outside your doors like this. (Jensen mimes waiting) I'll just wait here then.
Misha: a poster of a cat hanging which says "hang in there, it's Monday".
Jensen: He (Misha) has that poster in his trailer.
Q4: How bendy are you? Can you limbo?
A pole appears, Jensen holds it, Misha holds the other end waist height and Jared says he can't. Someone mentions his bad knee, he says yes! Jensen says what about he's the youngest? Jared holds it while Misha tries a limbo and succeeds. Jensen ducks under the bar.
Q5: Show us what happens if Sam and Dean meet AU Castiel.
Jared: What? I'm missing something.
Misha: They want you to beat the shit out of me.
Jensen: You give us some AU Castiel…
Misha says something and they both mime falling about laughing and then taking a selfie.
Q6: When you have bad days who is your rock?
Misha: My wife. When it all goes to shit, just hearing her voice has brought me out of it, and on Mother's Day I am grateful she is the mother of my children.
Jensen: Yes how many mothers do we have here? Happy Mothers Day you guys.
(jokes how many HAVE mothers)
Jensen: So it's kinda easy for me too, there was one person in my life I continually wanted to confide in, lean on and draw strength from, and that happened to be the same person, so I married her, and I will say this, however, she might be my rock, but I have some amazing pebbles in my life.
Jared: Agreed all round, my wife, my kids, but if you're asking for another reason, for those who aren't married, sometimes it's nothing you expect, it can be seeing the moon, going for a nice run, seeing a bird singing outside, life is cool. If you don't want to burden the people you love, sometimes I don't want to let people I love know I'm having a hard time, look for pebbles, cos sometimes that is all you need.
Q7: People want to hear you sing?
Jensen: Wayward Son?
Misha: Did we volunteer for this?
Jensen: I got it. Someone here has a birthday? (All sing.)
Q8: Since Cas has returned, has he felt more part of the family now?
Misha: No, he is still full of self-loathing and doubt. Sam and Dean don't play much emotion.
Jensen: No there were a few scenes..
Jared: What about the "if we die we'll do that together"?
Jensen: Was Cass there, emotionally, it doesn't sound like it?
Misha: He never believes he is wanted, he carries that around like a trenchcoat. It is kinda sad, but it's true of his character, but this season he has felt more part of the family than ever before.
Q9: Einstein said those who have the privilege to know have the duty to act, if you knew there were monsters would you act?
Jared: (jokes) That is exactly why I think the brothers have to die for the show to end, if they are alive they have to be hunting.
(Q no, I mean in the real world)
Jensen: I see, absolutely.
Jared: Yes, I feel she pulled some Jedi mind shit, yes, that is correct.
Q10: Could you try to pronounce (a German dialect word):
They all try, not very well.
Jensen: There were some really inappropriate things being spoken. What language?

Jared: Anybody tell us what we said, are we going to prison?
Q11: You were in Berlin, can you add bicycle touring to your skills?
Jensen: Yes, this bicycle tour I did take the lead in a few of the quests, so yea.
Misha: That's a big boon for your resume.
Jensen: We did not do a tour, we just went to the desk and said you got bikes? They gave us keys, we went for about 6 hours, so our iphones were the tour guide, like uhhh we're lost we got to go right on the….
Jared: We did, we went to the new Reichstadt building, but it was like a solarium, I sweat in the snow, so by the time you get to the top, it was like a sauna.
Jensen spins the wheel for a song (so Misha opens a juice bottle and he and Jensen have a drink) – it's just apple juice.
Q12: Misha, you've done accents, so now Jensen you have a new character, will you do an accent.
Jared and Misha whisper, Jared asks what accent, Misha says a weird German.
Misha: Want some tips? You're good at Australian, Scottish, Brit, you do Texan remarkably well.
Jensen: En Francais, I don't know if this new character is going to need an accent.
Misha: (does weird accent again.)
Jensen: If you were going to pick an accent, what would that be? (I'm German so, improve on Misha's version of German)
Jensen: I didn't set that up with the intention of the insult, but that's awesome, thank you.
Jared Meet+greet (x)
I asked him whether that was something they’d discussed on set or if it was something he’d had in mind while playing the scene. Jared answered that it wasn’t something they’d discussed but that it was definitely something he had in mind when shooting the scene. He actually made a lot of choices that day and (in cooperation with the director, I guess) made some adjustments that weren’t featured in the script. For instance, in the scene in the cave, Sam was originally supposed to wake up with Lucifer’s face right in front of him (as the first thing Sam saw when he woke up), but Jared wanted Sam to wake up and have those few moments of confusion with him looking around thinking; “Where am I? Where’s Dean?“. Jared also said that they made some different choices regarding the lighting and stuff like that. Jared mentioned that he didn’t really think Lucifer gave him much of a choice (after Lucifer had brought him back) when he had to choose between going with Lucifer or being ripped apart by the vampires. It was a bad choice no matter what he did. Jared described it as a “you can choose to save one of your kids, but then you have to kill the other“ kind of decision. And either way, Lucifer would still have found his way to the camp regardless of Sam joining him, so this way Sam at least got to be there to help out his family. Someone asked Jared whether Sam would ever be able to forgive Lucifer. She pointed out that we were seeing a more humane side of Lucifer with him having issues with his father and just wanting a family of his own. I must admit, I was shaking my head during this question, as I firmly believe that Lucifer never ever deserved a redemption arc. Fortunately, Jared didn’t think Lucifer deserved it either. Jared emphazied that Sam could forgive a lot of things (for instance, he and Dean worked with Roy and Walt in the end of season 12 as if they hadn’t actually killed them both back in season 5) but everyone has a limit – a line that, if you cross it, can’t be forgiven. And that’s exactly what Jared said Lucifer did. Lucifer did so many horrible things to Sam that he crossed that line a long time ago, and Sam will never forgive him for it. There was a question about the infamous voice mail Zachariah changed back in season 4. Jared thought it was a bit sad it has never been touched upon again, but he did say that Sam knows Dean loves him. There has been a lot of bad decisions by both of the brothers in the past, but they’ve all been forgiven, so Sam doesn’t doubt that Dean loves him and vice versa.
Bonus: Jared apologized for having been “out of sorts” during his Saturday solo panel. He’d been feeling unwell and he’d skipped dinner with the rest of the guests and instead gone straight to bed. He’d actually slept fully clothed. It was what he needed though since he was feeling a lot better the next morning.
