Jensen: Apologise in advance, he's working on little sleep and I'm on heavy doses of cold medicine, so.
This past Tuesday we wrapped up S14.

They've been on hiatus for 5 days and are growing the hiatus beards.
If money was no object, what would you like to do in the last season? Jensen – go on the road, which would be a logistic nightmare, but fun.
(Crying fan makes Jared cry too, Jensen gets tissues.)
Jensen: Was there a question or just a therapy session? (You're appreciated) What we've created here goes far beyond what you see on screen, you're appreciated too. Jensen (to Jared) you've got… (he wipes Jared's face) it was a piece of tissue, all right, there might have been some glitter in there.
Jensen talks about Michael, he asked Andrew is there a way you want it played, (he asked Christian too), Andrew said no, you got it. I was trying to find Michael – I only had two scenes in the season opener – so I thought remember you are the most powerful being and there's nothing you're afraid of, so I tried not to blink, be almost robotic.
Jared jokes about Jensen's blinking and eyelashes, and Jensen says his youngest daughter does that blinking, Jared adds she is like a Disney character with ridiculously long eyelashes.
Jensen : in Speight's episode, I asked for direction, and started to feel the rhythm, chained up talking to Jack and Cas, I found my stride, just in time to kill him.
What's the theme of S14, story structure?
Jared: revenge, the true meaning of loss. Jensen: sacrifice, loss, Dean was ready to take Michael down in the box, and Jack.
Stories on set – share a humorous backstage event re Jared/wind.
Jared: My five year-old.. Jensen: If he wants it to be silent.. if he wants it to make noise to make people laugh… I'm like how? It's baffling, the skill you possess.
Jared: We joke that we're unfireable, because Sam and Dean, but we're also unhireable, on any other project.
Jensen: Phil was directing the finale, and one day Jared was… Phil was begging Jared to just behave. Jared: I was crawling on set the camera was on Misha, and grabbing Misha's knee, drawing blood. They kick Jared off set, and Jensen is across from Misha and Jared is crawling onto set…. I whispered to Brad, camera, tilt down. During Jared's coverage I thought Misha was going to get him back and Jared did it even harder… again, unhirable.
There was one crew guy there for one day who watched in disbelief, I can't believe these people are allowed a job.
Online conspiracy theory: Kripke's vision was 5 years, ten extra – who made the crossroads deal?
Jared: yea, we made the decision, not the network, Jensen: it was not an easy decision, it was months of discussion, everyone, we didn't want the show to fizzle out, we wanted to go out strong, everybody felt it was coming soon, let's get out and hold out heads high for what we accomplished. My analogy, was we're driving the impala either we go left and drive off a cliff and it's epic, or go right and just run out of gas in the middle of the desert, dying in your car cos you ran out of gas hmm.
Listen, we're not done, we have a whole nother year, are you sad it's over? No we have a year.

Jared: First con since we finished filming on Tuesday, we're 5 days into our final hiatus.
Jensen: Five days into our hiatus beard, I'm putting the clippers away I ain't shaving for a couple of months, it's gonna be great. Shower? Overrated.
Jensen: They've taken the cigarette patch tech with hangover patches, it's called the party patch

Jensen: they smell like really intense B vitamins, it stinks, but it works. When in Las Vegas….
Question: Do you believe in ghosts, and your experience with it?
Jensen: I wouldn't say that… I don't not-believe it, I'm the first to think of a rational explanation, there's a logical explanation to 99% of it, but that one percent maybe. I've not had anything supernatural happen to me in real life. I like to say that if a ghost does decide to present itself, I have 14 years under my belt of not being a ghost hunter, but playing one on TV.
Q: Whose post-Supernatural career are you most proud of, Sterling…? Jared: Ruby, she's busy, yea, we've had some cool people on the show.
Jensen: Sterling has done some great work – that's not a shock, we were fortunate to work with him, we knew the talent, we're still close with JDM, who hasn't done a whole lot, but we're proud of him anyway. There's a lot of people personally, Mitch's daughter is here today, ran into Felicia yesterday and asked about her child. It's not just acting accolades.
Jared: I watched Wendigo, which is funny, Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich), his first job. What about you? (This is Us makes me cry)
Jensen: That's why I don't watch it, one day…
Question: After the final season will you change your appearance – eg never shave again (up there)? (someone in the line starts screaming, Jensen asks if someone can go help her, and says they will defuse this, we're just gonna step off)
Jensen: The shortest intermission in history.
Jared: Send her some love.
Jensen: We were talking about hair, Jared's Viking braids. See Borja (Misha shaved his head on stage). See how much money you could raise, let Misha do it.
Jensen: We'll both change a little bit just to gain a bit of our own identity, these characters are a part of us, I know this is the best.. umm (laughs) imaginary friend I ever had, Dean will be part of me for the rest of my life, but I don't have to look like him. It depends what our wives want us to look like.
Jared: I've thought of going bow-legged, what is it like at 6 foot? Are you not shaving as well? Solidarity.
Q: How will the SPN family continue as years go by?
Jensen: I hope it will be as strong as it is now, there are bonds that I know will last a lifetime, we'll meet other people, I strongly believe the relationships we built with the cast and crew that we worked intimately with, will last a lifetime. We're signed on to do conventions past the show, and I don't believe they'll end for some time or ever.
(Pause while girl who had the episode returns)
Jensen: Let's just keep talking.
Question: What are you most looking forward to after the show ends?
Jared: Getting to know our kids and wives and ourselves. We travel a lot, each episode is 8 days and we do cons, press, when I wake up every day there's a moment of "where am I? Am I flying today?" I'm kind of excited for the boring life, just gonna be a dad.
Jensen: Yea, I've never known my kids without the show being part of my life, it's all we've known, it really is going to be interesting to see where life goes. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to spend more time with my kids and wife and my friends I'd like to spend more time with. The opportunity to not get on an airplane every 3-4 days. The opportunity to remove one of the Chrises and put my name there.
Jared: You're not Australian.
Jensen: The opportunity, not saying I can. (are you going to be the new Batman) I don't know, I never had the opportunity before now, but again, I've been very very happy letting the professional parts go by these past years because of how much I love this character.
Question: Has anyone impacted your life the way SPN impacted ours?
Jared: I don't know.
Jensen: Personally or professionally?
Jared: I don't know, for 15 years we can't take our wig off, like you wrapped for the season but we're back in two months, so you're still kind of working. Hopefully Sam Winchester has been the culmination of everything I've been through.
Jensen: What influenced me is what Jeff did with John, where Dean can go, both emotionally and he was Dean's hero, so Dean would imitate him. I tried to go the lower voice, I didn't know we were going 14 years, I'm now older that Jeff was when we did the pilot, so Misha and I will have to seek vocal therapy to get back to speaking like normal humans. Jeff laid a kind of blueprint, it served me well.
Question: I asked Mark, but… how does a demon deposit sulphur.
Jensen: does some walking and running with sound.
Jared: At an ATM next to the deposit slip is sulphur deposit.
Jensen: I always assumed it was the way humans shed skin or hair, I don't have a perfect explanation. Do you? (powder doesn't make sense)
Question: bucket list? (Yorkshire accent, which Jared jokes about)
Jared: a helicopter ride
Jensen: what!?
Jared: so what's yours?
Jensen: see my children grow up.
(Helicopter patenting joke)
Question: Will you have any input to the end, or will it be a total surprise?
Jensen: No, I don't think he and I are on board with "whatever they give us", we have expressed our desire to Bob, and.. to be a part of the process, it's the first time we've ever done this, not that we don't trust what they will give us, but just to be there, add a little spice here and there, this is the year that we do that. We're going to attempt to take more of an active role, I don't know if they will listen to us, they may just (thumbs down) so I'm prepared for that, but it would be doing a disservice to the show to not give at least the input that the characters deserve.
Jared: They've invited us up to LA to be part of the storyboarding, our lives happened, we are going to not know the next episode, but more as a fan of the show I want to have input – I don't want to be the actor who calls to say "can I say" I'd like to offer my opinion.
Jensen: So we will know what it is before going into next seasons.
Question: How do you feel watching yourselves on screen?
Jared: I hate it
Jensen: I think Dean and I are similar, it's less of the yea! and more "well, don't do that face ever again, that line worked, wow missed that one" – we're almost taking score, we're much more critical of ourselves than the audience, although… never read the comments! So try to capitalize on the bits that worked next time I have a similar scene, it's hard to watch like an audience. We liked watching Death's Door, wow what a good TV show, because we weren't in it.
Jared: It's difficult to be objective.
Question: Jensen you were amazing last night…
Jared: Whoa!
Jensen: not so bad yourself..
Question: Dark Angel piano playing/stories?
Jensen: I learned about 8 bars of it, it was a very difficult song to play, Chopin, for someone who never played the piano before. Stories? That was so long ago. I was in a boxing ring, and she punches to the face, she lined it up and then took a step back so I thought, OK she's even further away now, but then she leaned into the punch so caught me square in the nose, it was one of those where I was young enough to be like "I can't yell cut, that hurt!" I'm older and I still don't.. There was a slap from a young actress who couldn't do the fake slap, so I said just slap me, she's a small girl, how hard can it be? There was a whole hand print, with fingers, like a welt, and the whole crew was like ohhhhh!. I've learned not to let them do that now. I'll never just sign up to get hit any more, I can go out to a bar to get hit, I don't want to get defenceless.

Question: Scooby episode, how many takes to do the scooby-dooby-do
Jensen: A small crowd had gathered to watch across the street, so we walk out onto the street and they can't hear what we're saying and I know as soon as I say that line they will be…what? I was legitimately embarrassed to say that line, the people watching will hear this old line from a cartoon, they're going to say wow this show has really jumped the shark.
Question: My beanie fell into the fountain at the Bellagio, where would you recommend I get another?
Jared: gives her his, word to the wide – wash that.
Jensen: Hey Jared I lostmy favorite watch..
Jared- takes off watch and Jensen imitates the girl's hug.
Jared: Jensen, my underwear just fell off…

Last question: In the french Mistake, where were the actors when Sam and Dean were in "our" universe?
Jensen: They were at a convention. Or Balthazar sent them somewhere, or they're at the con and didn't show up for work because they're asshole actors.
